+ Location is very easy access and near Av. Liberdade. The bed very comfortable.
- Bathroom was clean but the construction was very poor and a lot of Material missing and bathroom floor on the edges still has construction debris and not well covered.

The hostel staff was really nice, they took us in the middle of a night and we didn't even warn them earlier. Each room has lockers so there is no fear of theft. Wifi works well, rooms are clean and the location is perfect.

The first thing is that there is not a real reception and you have to call a portugese number to get into the hostel. the girls working there though are quite nice and helpful, but as mentioned you hardly see them. the pictures promise a bit more than it really is...especially the bathroom is not so nice and has some mould areas :(
to be fair the location and connection is really good, because metro and bus are just around the corner :)
there is also a real cool and cheap restaurant at the corner, which i can really recommend for having breakfast there!

While the lady is very nice and does try to help out/ communicate her English was extremely basic so did make communicating hard. The hostel isn't badly placed however the rooms are extremely basic - the doors have a gap when you shut/ lock them which means you constanly hear everyone's movement, making it hard to get a full nights sleep uninterrupted. I often stay in hostels when i go abroad and while I know they are the cheaper option I often find them good. I often try go for hostels which have a team of staff and have someone manning the reception at all times, however this isn't the case here and we were woken at 7am and then again at 8am by someone persistently rining the door bell.
If you only care for price then go for this hostel but if you want to have a room you feel you can relax in then maybe look elsewhere

Okay for a few nights, clean with friendly staff and the wifi is excellent.The shared bathroom is nice. In the winter it can be tricky and cold because it has no heating. But all in all it is a decent hotel
