In the centre of Chandigarh this place is a great secluded and relaxed hotel. A lot of good staff who make your stay extremely comfortable. Facilities are great with a spa, swimming pool and gym. Bar open til midnight and restaurant food is very nice and reasonably priced for standard and quality of surroundings (300-400 for a decent sized dish.

This is a good hotel to stay in Chandigarh especially if you are on a business trip. It is centrally located and offers good hospitality. The rooms have a old world charm yet attractive. It can be further improved by providing some modern amenities in the room.
They have a Chinese and an Indian restaurant. I relished food in the Indian restaurant called Dera. Good peshawari cuisine. their buffet and the dining staff is well mannered. The banquet and other staff is cooperative and have excellent sense of hospitality.

I stayed in Taj Chandigarh for business second time after a gap of about 4 years. The location of this property is excellent and right in the centre of Chandigarh, on the intersection of Madhya Marg and Jan Marg, bang opposite Rose Garden. Sector 17 shopping is just 10 minutes walk away. I was upgraded to Club room on 5th floor by the hotel which was offering beautiful view of the city. Room was large and very well kept. Food in the restaurant is excellent with lot of variety. Staff is well mannered and well trained. This hotel is highly recommended to business as well as leisure traveller.

Stayed at the Taj hotel in Chandigarh during my previous visit in December 2016. I created my profile recently so I thought I must review them. And congratulate them on the service they provide. Rooms are spacious and overlooks the Sector 17 shops. Bar has a lot of choice for international spirits and local beverages as well.

Stayed a night with the family . First the good things . The Indian restaurant Dera is beautiful with a well crafted menu and a team that enhances the dining experience a couple of notches about your expectation .
However the hotel doesn't live up to what you would expect from a Taj property . A mediocre front office welcome , very ordinary food at the lunch buffet at the coffee shop .
A special mention for Amarjeet their duty manager who acted very swiftly to take control and make things happen .
