Good holiday

We had a great holiday at Taj Exotica in October. This is an expansive property, with lovely rooms and lawns. Food was great too. My kid really enjoyed in the kids' area, which had a lot of planned activities for kids. Staff was very courteous. I didn't give it 5 stars as I didn't really like the beach. It was not very clean, and i could see many dogs. But overall, we had a great stay and a memorable holiday.

Beautiful, silent and comfortable property with professional and kind staff. The room service was excellent. I had an accident and I found warm and kind care and support. Nice beach and good bars and restaurants were available. I strongly recommend Taj Exotica for an amazing stay in Goa.

Stayed at the Taj Exotica for 2 Nights & 3 Days in September.
An experience I would love to share.

The location is secluded and in order to make up for that, the property has anything and everything you will need to make sure you don't need to move out of the premises.
The have a wonderful lawn which is vast and also have facilities like Football, Cricket, Tennis, Table Tennis, Snooker/Pool Table, etc.
The beautiful lawn is connected to the Benaulim Beach and the beach is serene.
The white sands and the fact that its secluded for the hotel residents is just a wonderful experience. Towards the beach boundary wall, there are two/three wonderful cottages which are of premium category. The exterior of these cottages have such a warm and luxurious feel. The regular category rooms are done up brilliantly. The interiors are so elegant.

The check in process was way faster than we had expected. After a tiring travel, we were definitely not up for an elongated paper work filled check in process, but to our surprise it was very swift. Salman was the duty manager who made sure our check in process was easy and fast.

The coffee shop where the breakfast buffet was laid every morning - Eugenia. It had a very vast menu ranging from various cuisines. Mr. Rohit waitered us well for almost all of our meals and it was a brilliant experience dining there. Chef Naina made sure that our dishes were made as to our liking and also suggested us some wonderful options which are their specialities.

Half of our stay was spent in the swimming pool. Mr. Shabhinath was serving us food and beverages at the pool send and he was always on his toes.

A small mention for the Jiva Spa which was a brilliant experience. Just had a back massage done, but my friends went for a full body massage and its definitely rejuvenating.

Mr. Devender Singh was the wonderful gentleman always available with the guest cart to drive us around the property from one location to another. I am sure the availability of the cart and the need of us having used it give you an idea of the expanse of the property.

A wonderful holiday I must say.

Outstanding hotel with outstanding services

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights. The sea view rooms are fantastic and spacious. The breakfast is varied and delicious. But what makes this hotel stand out are the people that work there. I had 3 beauty treatments and one was better than the other. There was a small problem but Vincy, the manager sorted it out immediately. Finally I would like to than Harris, in reservations for making our trip outstanding. He looked after our every need and made it all seem so effortless. Thank you Harris for making this a trip of a lifetime.

Well, there are two answers to the question posed to me above: 1. I could claim that we only broke the rule last time, and a third visit doesn't count. 2. I could properly claim on this occasion that we weren't just going to visit the hotel or indeed Benaulim or Goa, but we were actually visiting friends, as that is how we were greeted.

Now we are by no means naive enough to think that going three times in 4 years makes us anything special (many people have been going twice a year for ages), or that we are the biggest spenders in town, but from the welcomes and warm handshakes as we stepped out of our taxi from the airport, through the whole two weeks of pampering and being properly spoilt we did indeed feel we were amongst friends. In some ways it seems mean to pick out individuals as from gardeners through maintenance engineers to the loftiest manager they are all members of one of the finest hotel teams we have ever seen, but there were a few: Akshaya and Lavinia who daily proved that whatever the badge might say the girls are actually in charge, Jerry, Ganesh, Kensing and Jenas who ensured we didn't drown in the pool, sorted our sunbeds and kept us equipped with Frisbees, Johnson (supported by Vijay) who got me and Karen round two rounds of golf without collapsing into fits of laughter (and sorted my chipping), Shailesh and Shabinath who both ensured we were royally fed and watered at lunch and breakfast (and I'm sure that I saw Shabinath, the ultimate professional - he would be a brilliant Butler to the gentry - crack a little smile on more than one occasion) and Abhijeet, Bar Manager in Adega Camoens, who despite looking barely old enough to be in a bar was the very epitome of a master of the craft, with a clear passion for his work.

As I said, unfair to pick out individuals, but we would like to thank all of the above and all their other unnamed colleagues for ensuring that we can continue to break our rule with impunity, and simply plan again to visit our friends.
