Come here at the end of your Indian journey and you can relax and unwind and soak up the great ambience, service and pampering. Like Raffles in Singapore but better. If you can afford it, book a suite and chill. We had the most amazing time here. One of the highlights of all our Indian adventures (and we have done a few).

this hotel has the best location in the middle of the pichola lake with one side facing the beautiful city palace and the interior of the place stunning is too less to describe. the food was mind blowing the best rajasthani food during our stay it felt like the local rajasthani food we were eating. the desserts were at another level their rose kulfi was too die for even the main course it was totally worth not having breakfast too have the meal we had. their dal bhaati, laal mass, their kesari chicken , their raj kachori everything mind blowing and the staff its said na you go to taj and u will have the most curtious staff taking care of u

This was by far the best hotel we have ever visited it is hard to know where to start:
The staff were amazing, I cannot fault one thing they did. They went above and beyond to make our stay amazing and set a new bar for luxury hospitality.
The place was outstanding, you feel like royalty staying in the palace and it's added benefit of the views and the lake makes the experience magical.
The food was brilliant and the sunset cruise very nice. The roof top restaurant has some of the best views I have ever seen.
We can't fault one thing during our stay and would recommend anyone to stay during a trip to India even if just for a couple nights like us. We wish we had longer.
Booking on the hotel website gave us added benefits of a paid dinner and some discounts. I would recommend this route.

I hardly imagine there could be another hotel with a similar location: right in the middle of the lake, looking like a boat.
Service is impeccable, restaurants and breakfast offer wide choices (I had also pasta, that tastes like at home, and I can be a good judge, being Italian).
Rooms are furnished with style, coherent with the place. Bathroom can be small, but of course the palace was born like a private residence, and rooms are built on the original structure.
You can enjoy also dances in the evening and the sunset boat trip.
Don’t miss this hotel, it’s something you will remember!

The first view of the hotel from the jetty is stunningly beautiful. Then, as one steps ashore, you are greeted with a shower of rose petals. The overwhelming beauty continues as you are shown around the hotel to your room.
Our room was very comfortable with a small foyer and terrace too. The view across the lake to Jagmandir was super. Lovely bathroom with all the mods and cons that one could desire.
Awesome choice for breakfast.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
If there was one disappointment, it was the swimming pool. But perhaps this was because we had been spoilt by others along the way.
