We stayed for two days, our room was lovely with a private terrace, the grounds are beautifully landscaped and serene. Being in the trees there is plenty of birdsong and we did see a few of the large squirrels that live there. The elevated restaurant was good, go for breakfast on the small terrace, small criticism the menu could be reduced and the sheets in the room were a little damp because of the location, dehumidifiers would be good, but don't let that put you off this is a lovely hotel.

Visited Munnar for the first time with family. Lucky to choose The Tall Trees for two days stay. The resort justify the tagline of Kerala.
Rooms were clean, modern beautiful villas overlooking tea gardens. The resort arranges activities like nature walk and camp fire. Staff is very courteous and ready to help round the clock. Checkin/checkout was quick. Definitely a must visit property if you are planning for Munnar.

Location:Situated right along the high mountain slope, approx 4 kms from the main road through a narrow winding road up to the property
Rooms:Cottage Style accommodation with big rooms and amazing view of the forest (not the valley mind you).TV set available in the room.
Property:Nestled amidst the woods where you can hear the chirping of the birds, watch the giant Malabar Squirrels jump from one tree to another or simply walk around the soothing calmness all around this property. Note that since the property is located on a mountain slope,the walkways tend to be a bit steep at some locations .So elderly people might find it a bit difficult to move across the property.
As of now,they do not have a swimming pool and a gym.
Restaurant:This has to be the highlight of this property. Perched on the topmost location, we spent good time here during breakfast enjoying the delicious view and ofcourse the cool weather.They do not serve liquor (in fact I was told that none of the hotels in Munnar serve liquor ),Just outside the restaurant,guests can enjoy playing TT,Carrom,Chess,Ludo or read their favourite books in the TV room.
Staff:Super Amazing Staff .Check in and Check out was fast.
Definitely a must visit property!!

I had a wonderful experience staying at Tall Trees Resort for two nights with my father. The rooms were clean, modern and beautiful villas overlooking tea plantations and the rainforest. The hotel staff was very polite and friendly. Be advised that Tall Trees is a bit outside of Munnar's main area and the roads to get to the hotel are very narrow and winding. We got a bit car sick during the trip there and it's also not recommended to leave the hotel after dark. We ended up eating dinner every night at the hotel restaurant, which has great food, staff and views, so it's worth it to get dinner included in your package. The hotel also arranges activities, such as nature walks and camp fires, and the hotel spa is great (we got our first-ever Aryuvedic massages there -- what an experience!) Overall, I can not recommend Tall Trees more. We had a great stay there!

Warm and hospitable staff. Nice place to stay with family. The road to the resort is not that good, though. There is a large extend of property that is forms part of the resort. The place is well and professionally mannered.
