Right from the start the greeting was friendly and engaging. Nothing seemed to hard to arrange. Clean room with good facilities. There is done on site construction work taking place but no excessive noise. The nearby railway was a bit noisy but trains were few and relatively small. I'm planning to be back.

I stayed at Taylors last night on my way home from the airport. I had pre booked and arrived in the early hours of the morning. The owner kindly left the key for me in a safe place, and left the light and the heater on, which I thought was extremely considerate. The room was immaculate, and quiet. I slept so well that I slept in! I highly recommend Taylors Motel, for great friendly service, a clean, quiet unit, a location that is easy to find and quiet, and has off-street parking. Excellent.

Excellent location. Clean room with everything we needed. Staff went out of their way to ensure we had a nice stay. Really friendly and helpful with local things to do. Onsite baaby sitter was fantastic with children. Would definitely recommend.

Stopover on way to Christchurch - what a superb motel!! Spacious, clean and comfortable, hosts extremely helpful and customer service focused. High standard of amenities, close to everything. -would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

We arrived at this motel on a Friday afternoon and had not booked. Both my husband and I were unwell with a cold, and the young woman that came out to greet us was kindness itself. She showed us a couple of options for staying, and then offered us a discounted unit with 2 bedrooms, which was marvellous for our needs. She helped us with our bags, made sure the heaters were on, and made sure that we were more than looked after. The unit was beautifully clean and warm.
When we realised we had forgotten to bring some cooking oil for our tea, they very kindly obliged, and gave us some. We were very cosy indeed, and the price was most reasonable. Great work, Taylor's motel in Ashburton, you get our vote😃
