This hotel is in a great location in a very beautiful part of India; even with the development of recent decades, the surrounding views are stunning. The hotel and rooms sprawl across the hillside with sometimes tortuous routes to and from reception. The complex is very well maintained by a caring staff. The food in the restaurant and at breakfast were good. It's just a short walk into town, which is probably one of the most hectic gatherings of traffic in Kerala at certain times.

I had large spacious room with an elevated view over looking the lush Munnar countryside. The balcony was an excellent area on which to relax. Beautiful manicured gardens with interesting shrubs and flowers. Some of the rooms are located some way from the main building and require a walk through the garden paths and up or down steps. The bar had just a choice of beer or expensive wine. The restaurant had a reasonable buffet although the service was a little slow at times.

Went there with family for 3 nights.
Location - 10 out 10
The Premium cottage was very spacious, comfortable & with full amenities.
The staff was very cordial, polite and inviting.
The cleanliness is very good and the landscaping garden is very beautiful.
Very reasonably priced.
Value for Money.

We stayed at the KTDC Tea County Resort this October 2017 during the Diwali break. The location is excellent with a view to match. We booked the suite which is a villa with a little sit out, a bedroom and a bath. The service was excellent and prompt and the garden was beautiful. Close to the market but I found the slopes were too steep to walk comfortably. A very beautiful place to stay. A must visit.

We were 5 of us and we zeroed down on this Resort in Munnar after checking 3 best grade properties in and around Munnar. Although old,the Property is very well maintained and staff (Security to Manager) are extremely cordial.Top class!!
