Tea nest the Best

This is my most memorable trip and stay in Coonoor and Ooty. I stayed in Green room which has privacy into it. I visited in Nov'17 and stayed here for 3 nights, I must say best place to stay with green surrounding everywhere and scenic views. Food quality was awesome.
My Special thanks to hotel staff (Mani, Hanish and Vinod). They assisted us all the time have arranged separate induction cooker to make baby food for my 7 months old child. They also organised local TV channels (Marathi) for us to watch.
Highly recommended for nature lovers.
Teanest annex means private & hospitality.

Stay : Nice place to stay... Teanest annex is good place for people looking for privacy, it is located less than kM away from main TeaNest. No disturbance, Only two rooms are available, we stayed in Basil Room, One hall One bedroom available, too spacious . Just open your curtain you could see beautiful Tea valley view. Rooms are not like Hi-Fi 5 Star hotel room, but it is neat and clean. Old type bathroom switches are not functioning properly, but okay.
Food: Another good part of TEANEST is Food, really we liked the quality and taste, mostly i used to get stomach upset whenever i take food outside of home, but here i felt better no issues.
The welcome drink "Basil Tea" is awesome. later we paid 40 rupees per tea but it is worth.
Some snack and Ooty chocolate will be there in room free of cost.
Transportation : From Coonoor railway station or Bus stand, just 150 rupees for Auto, ask them singara estate. for return Teanest themselves will arrange based on your request. we took auto paid 200 rupee to bus stand.
Roads are good around the Singara estate .... best place for long walk......
Most importantly bit costlier....
Truly a stay inside the Tea nest

We stayed a day each in Tea nest and Tea nest Annexe. We truly loved the ambiance and the hospitality. The food served was my absolute favorite! We had a tea tasting session and we loved it and it was an eye opener as to how many types of tea exist!
We tried Tea menu for lunch and it was delicious. Tea was infused in every dish and the concept was unique!
Tea Nest Annexe was my really secluded and was just what the doctor ordered. Tea gardens in the backyard, tea gardens in the front yard, tea everywhere and a lunch with such a view is to be remembered for life!
Very disappointing

We stayed here for 2 nights on our trip to India in July 2017 and found the rooms really poor- dirty with flies constantly in the bathroom, electrics held together by sticky tape, reception unmanned, and drumming outside at 5am! Whilst a good location for walking best to avoid this hotel and stay in one with better quality rooms and reception. No wi fi.
Silence is golden

I realised first time in my life that silence is golden when I stayed at Tea nest Annexe in October, 2017. Sitting at the lawn I enjoyed hearing birdchirping and seeing only green around me. It's refreshing.
