Stayed at Accord Puducheery on 18 to 20 November 2017. Had good experience from check in to Check out. Amazing Staff right from the opening the door entrance to parking the vehice. Very courteous staff.
The best part was the breakfast spread,, i thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the Accord Puducherry. Alwasy they greet the travellers, Room service was on time, Nice food.
We had thalis for lunch since there was Thali festival, service was little slow at the restaurant due to less staff, but i love the taste of the breakfast and food. I like to stay there again. We got good deal from make my trip for this hotel. With kids and Family great place to stay. They kept for kids crayons and drawing papers which not only helped parents to engage them. Very clean and good hotel. Definitely recommend to my friends and family. Thank you Accord Staff.

large rooms, service till late night, willing to get required food. During BF i did not like the filter coffee, restaurant manager ensured i get coffee of my taste, tried located me @ reception and till i said coffee was good he was around - good service

Stayed at the Accord from 15th to 18th November. Very nice hotel with a very courteous staff. Located at a very accessible location.
Apart from being a small family vacation it was also my wife's birthday. When I booked the hotel, I spoke to Priya for making some arrangements for my wife's birthday. She very courteously offered a complimentary cake from the hotel. Eventhough she was not there when we checked in, she ensured that the cake was in place. Spoke to another lady at the desk about it, sorry can't remember her name starting with M I think, and she was more than happy to assist. In fact all the staff that we interacted from the entrance to checkout were very helpful.
My 4 year son thoroughly enjoyed his time and the swimming pool too. Just need the swimming tube as safety especially for kids.
The only area of improvement is the restaurant. The breakfast spread was pretty much the same through the 3 days we were there with minor changes. While the spread was quite extensive the food was strictly ok. We also had the buffet dinner the first night but it was also just about ok.
Will definitely visit Accord chain of hotel based on my experience and recommend too.

We had a good sized bedroom - overlooking the pool. The food was just ok but the staff were all very friendly and helpful. There were a few drinks we asked for in the bar that were listed but not available - for instance gin & tonic, kingfisher beer and so forth. The hotel is about 15 minutes drive to White Town- or the French section. Worth going to the museum, temple ect.

The accord is situated 3 km away from main white town tourist area. But ideal to go to any place. Nice restaurant clean rooms and a good breakfast spread
Start seeing puducherry from Perumal temple, breakfast at A2B restaurant, Aurobindo ashram, manakula ganesh temple , then Pondicherry French institute, Pondicherry museum, move on to promenade for a walk by the sea. See Gandhi statue, old lighthouse, French war memorial, go Upton dupleix statue. That ends promenade. It has good food joints along promenade but vehicles not allowed after 6.pm.
Auroville is a half hour drive. Not worth though unless you want to go to Auroville beach. The matri mandir is a half hour trek from visitor reception and too tiring in the hot climate. Then you can see only the structure and garden from outside. Visitors reception shows videos but you must see the correct one to know about Auroville. No one to guide at reception centre for visitors.
Chemmanur boat house is good. Gateway to ferry that takes you to paradise beach. Wonderful clean beach. If you reach boat house by 9.30 start time you can hv 10 to 12 am at beach when no crowds are there. After 4 pm only one long cruise ride is available along the ferry near beach. You can't disembark on beach.
Don't miss paradise beach
Surguru restaurant on mission street is a good veg place and take away place too. Thali meals are also good here. Purely veg fare. Worth the cost though
