Our 5 night stay at The Arrow Private Hotel for our 10th Wedding Anniversary was absolutely perfect! We arrived late at night and awoke the next morning to a white winter wonderland of snow - it was magical.
Our beautiful host, Beccy, was wonderful. So friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable AND she cooked us the most delicious breakfast each morning & secretly delivered it to our door.
Our architecturally designed room was gorgeous. The underfloor heating was amazing, & watching movies from the bath tub after a long day of hiking at Mt Cook, or snowboarding up at the ski fields, was quite the treat!
A very different NZ South Island experience to our last. Our last visit included our three very young kids + a camper van for 2 weeks! Aaaaaggghhh!!! It was amazing too, but this ...... this was bliss!
Thanks for your hospitality Beccy. We can't wait to return, but next time, we'll be bringing the kids! (They still haven't forgiven us for leaving them in Australia, whilst we got to play in all that snow. Ooops!!)

Great service with a genuine warm welcome from Rebecca, your hostess. Clean modern room with a great view. Accept her invitation for a drink in the croft where she can be mined for information on the local attractions and cafes, restaurants etc.

The Arrow is a beautifully designed small hotel. Wonderful location, with a walking track to town. The Stone Cottage to meet other guests for a drink and canapes before heading out for dinner.This was a return visit with friends this time. Lovely accommodation, especially the bath with a view. Becky is doing a great job. We'll be back!

We had the pleasure of staying a night at The Arrow with our wonderful host, Rebecca.
We had a lovely, friendly and relaxed evening by the fire in the Croft before heading off to bed in our beautifully appointed suite with an incredibly comfortable bed - and waking the next morning to snow! Just perfect.
Will be recommending The Arrow to all my friends and family.

We loved the Arrow Private hotel! So beautiful and modern and quiet. It has huge windows with beautiful views, and it's a nice walk into the center of town. In springtime, when we visited, there are beautiful flowers everywhere. We were delighted with everything. The staff is great, and the breakfast was really nice, too, delivered through a secret compartment in the wall, so as not to disturb anyone's privacy.
