Overnight stop
gillwigleywooon 06/11/2017 11:22Excellent breakfast and a lovely comfy bed after a longish journey. The evening meals were fine, and the eating area is very cosy with a wood burning stove. All the staff are friendly and the pub is very quiet despite being on a main road. Its dog friendly, and excellent value for money.

Longtripcoupleon 01/11/2017 09:47This is a lovely place to stay. Once there you dont have to move as its got bedrooms, food and drink.
The room we stayed in was a great size with lots of storage. Everything was great. The Inn has a great history and the couple that own it have refurbished it in a sympathetic manner. Pick a Wednesday for a stay if you are into music. The locals rack up and have a music evening in true Scottish style.
Lovely service and food
Rachel Pon 31/10/2017 01:09We stopped in here after a busy day of castle adventures on our way to the Enchanted Forest in Pitlochry. As it was a Sunday the lounge was quiet and there was no problem being seated and served immediately. There was 6 of us 3 adults and 3 children and we all enjoyed our meals, I don't think anyone left a morsel.The service was great, very friendly and helpful. The price was very very good. Would return here on our next trip up to Pitlochry

Barry Hon 30/10/2017 14:31Stopped over for a night in the Bankfoot Inn with the family whilst visiting the Enchanted Forest. We were simply looking for family accomodation, saw what looked nice in what seemed to be a nice place but not really knowing what we were getting - absolutely delighted to find we had a two roomed flat with it's own entrance next right next to the pub! Clean, well looked after and just perfect for our night, with the kids in their own room. Had dinner there and food was good, breakfast was lovely and our hosts very friendly. Definitely would love a return visit and some time to actually visit the pub next time! Thanks

sallymW6851LQon 27/10/2017 20:11Lovely pub. Very pleasant. Comfy room with essentials. Good taste - no chintz. Good food. What’s not to like? Very handy for A9 if travelling between Inverness and central belt or beyond. Room without en suite, but bathroom eand separate loo down corridor.
