Not fit to be advertised as a hotel
Darren Mon 31/10/2017 14:50Carpets were dirty, half eaten fruit found under the bed and crisp packets. bin hadn't been emptied. duvet covers in the family room has holes in the stitching on the seams, Mirrors and glass smeary with finger marks.
The bathroom was disgusting and the one hand towel and bath towel for a family of 3 were marked and dirty. the toilet had not seen bleach or a loo brush in months probably!
the hotel main stair carpets absolutely stank of stale alcohol..
This was by far a hotel not fit for purpose!
Disgusting
vikki847on 17/10/2017 15:40Stay at your own risk a totally disgusting place, poo on the bedroom floor and given talc to try disguise the smell. No sheets on bed and dirty sheets on floor, not cleaned and room smelt of urine.
Terrible place, read ALL reviews not just the good ones. The bad ones are there for a reason they are warning you.
Dont bother booking here
kevinghewitton 27/09/2017 18:04my wife and I checked into the room to find used bed linen on the bed and not even made , hadn't been hovered , cups hadn't been washed , the bathroom wasn't any better the shower head was held on by cable ties , bath panel was hanging off, it hadn't been cleaned and the window was propped open with an angle bracket.
Table top lamps had no bulbs and there was rubbish in one of the bedside cabinets. after coming back from our party we decided that the bed may have had bugs as is was that old so decided to sleep on top of it rather than in it
On checkout when we mentioned these faults we received no offer of a refund and Late rooms who we booked it through have not been able to contact the hotel.
I AM ONLY GIVING IT ONE STAR BECAUSE THATS THE LOWEST I CAN GIVE AND THAT IS ONE STAR TOO MANY
lack of facilities.
Glynis835on 09/09/2017 14:05We booked bed and breakfast at the bee hotel, upon arriving we were informed there was no food available at any time, so we had to go out and look for a restaurant with 2 children at 9pm in the evening after a horrific journey. The proprietor informed us there were two cafes where we could get breakfast in the morning, but failed to inform us everywhere would be closed on a Monday, so we had to travel down the road to Towyn to find somewhere to feed the children. The television in the room did not work, there was no remote control, we did ask but never received one, although the room was clean on arrival, no housekeeping was done during our stay. the pub downstairs was very tatty, my partner went to the gents and said it was filthy with holes in the doors faeces and sick in the toilet bowls which had not been cleaned. The garden could have done with a mow, there were a lot of stinging nettles and it is supposed to be a childs play area, A broken sun brolly which had bent over and was inside out remained there for our stay, looked like it at been out there some time, and I was quite worried about the poor pet rabbits which appeared to spend the whole time we were there in a hutch with only a dirty drinking bottle. And then to add insult to injury they tried to charge us more than the agreed room amount upon leaving. It is advertised as family friendly and providing bar meals, but children are not allowed in the pub area and there is no food provided, the place was so dirty downstairs I wouldn't want to eat there anyway.
Great value for money
Pierre Ion 06/09/2017 18:04Great value for money hotel. Old fashioned but very pleasant staff and comfy beds. Excellent showers. Surrounding area love lovely and night life very good. I recommend the harp and the local wine bar
