Called in to watch the football as most places had olympics on. The whole place is disgusting! They have a habitual uncouth male called Garry who's tongue was abosolutly vile....I have heard bad language as I worked with builders but this was beyond that! Who the landlady thought was wonderful and laughed everytime he opened his mouth! And said "good old Garry" ...of course Garry had some uncouth girlfriend who's language matched.
The landlady had no consideration for anybody wanting to watch or even listen to the football. Serveral couples left!
As for the other barmaid she needs a ward for most grumpy unsocible barmaid ever!
The wine was flat and rank....it had obviously been hanging arround.
The toilets are a disgrace......one taped off...one with no light and the other with no door. And a group of intoxicated bimbos hogging the one and only sink & mirror to plaster even more cheap slap on!

A good landlord and landlady makes all the difference

Since the new management have taken over, Steve and Anita this pub has changed for the better. This pub has changed from a late drinker and never know what to expect public house to somewhere you can call your local. When you goto the Bolton you are well looked after and made to feel welcome. The atmosphere has changed dramatically and so far the pub which is nicely done out has something extra which you can't quite put your finger on which it was completely lacking before. Strong management and a forward thinking couple driving this pub forward has worked really well it must be difficult to create that bit of magic in any pub but the Bolton is becoming a special place for everyone. Thanks for all your hard work it hasn't gone unnoticed.

Best pub in Brixham loved been there company is amazing and bar staff are brilliant big shout out to the owner who made my stay brilliant defo be back always laughing dancing music is amazing would not change anything about the pub thank you for a brilliant time

Myself and my girlfreind went Torquay for the Bank holiday weekend at the end of May, we went to Brixham as we seen there would be fireworks on the Saturday night, so when we were in Brixham we called into the Bolton pub like we dad last time we were there, but this time it was in the night, not the day. We were only going to stay for one drink, but ended up staying all night, Steve the landlord was going Karaoke and a Disco, what a great night we had, made some new freinds, sang on the Karaoke and danced all night, the last time we were at the Bolton Pub, it was a bit drab, with Steve only being therr a short time. Well Steve, you have turned The Bolton Put into a lovely place to go for a drink, or a Great Night Out. WE WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN THE NEXT WE ARE THERE.

when't to Brixham for the day, we were staying in Torqtuay, myself and my girlfriend went into the Bolton Pub for a drink, we had friendly greeting from the landlord and bar staff, as we sat having a drink, the place seemed friendly, and the landlord (Steve) came and sat with us, He said that he had only been at the pub for a few months and is turning the pub around, as it has had a bit of a bad name before, Steve;s girlfriend then came to sit with us, we must have chatted for about an hour, we learned that steve was a Butlins Red Coat, he is also a DJ, and does Karaoke, He is a right character, telling jokes and making us laugh, We will be going to The Bolton again next time we go to the area.
