Family meal whilst staying in cotswolds

During our week spent in the Cotswolds as a family of 11 we eat twice at this pub. Food is traditional pub grub with decent portion sizes. Live music on the weekends and dogs allowed in the bar but not the restaurant. Would recommended for a traditional pub dinner with a good atmosphere.
Nice friendly pub

Our walking group had lunch here. It was a pleasant pub with a nice atmosphere. I believe they have musical events here.
The food was simple pub meals but served well and were delicious. The one waitress was very efficient and friendly. Moderately priced. There is a small car park at the rear.
It's those little things...

The bar was full of children, men and dogs who took up most of the room. This was on a Sunday afternoon.
The prices on the menu that evening were expensive and a limited choice. Even so the food was very good.
Breakfast could have been better. Morning 1 we were just offered the full English that came with baked beans in a glass pot that would have been useful as an eye bath it was so small. The orange juice (no choice) came in a similar size glass.
Morning 2 was a totally different staff and we were offered scrambled eggs, poached eggs too.
Once you had your breakfast in front of you everyone disappeared so you could not get any more toast, another cup of tea/coffee.
The room was very nice but surprised by there being no toiletries as mentioned on other reviews. The bathroom window was plain clear glass so you could be seen by anyone out in the play area or garden. Yes there were curtains but surely frosted glass is the norm nowadays.
Being that we were staying two nights another surprise was that nobody had come to re-make the bed, collect any rubbish or replenish the hot drinks tray.
An odd place, you never saw the same member of staff more than once. They are not particularly welcoming and trying to find someone to leave the room key with at the end of our stay was just impossible.
quaint english B&B

positives - lovely quaint B&B attached to an English pub located in an interesting village Croperdy. DELICIOUS cooked breakfast - excellent coffee. good strong wifi, good satellite tv channels, generous coffee & tea provided. nice toiletries too. strong shower. spacious and clean room. B&B has an outdoor area, it was really nice to sit there and have dinner in summer. friendly staff. ample parking for guests.
negatives: no lifts, but it's ok. location was a bit far from where i had intended to go, but that's not their fault.
So happy to be returning

We stayed at the Brasenose Arms for the second year, whilst attending Silverstone. Great staff, superb food, including a huge breakfast. Ideal for Silverstone, only 30 minutes away. Helpful staff, lovely beer garden and a lovely location. Our only sorrow is that we can stay there on our visit to next years Grand Prix
