Almost 5 stars

Arrived mid afternoon after the day in Bridlington, we were shown to our room 4 on top floor.
Had a cuppa and watched TV until we went out for tea.
Bed was comfy and we both slept well.
Breakfast was excellent, you have to fill in a form the evening before.

The only negative was the shower... waste of space, more water comes out a watering can. Partner had to wash hair in sink.

Lovely Rooms

My review starts from the very start, the booking process, i booked over the phone and the lady i spoke to was rude, i then called back as she didn't send over my booking reference to which she said "well it bounced back that's why you haven't got it" in a rude manner i then asked if she could send me it over again and her response was "i'm in the middle of breakfast here" i never did receive my booking reference but it was not a problem on the day.

When arriving to the B&B for our one night stay we were welcomed in by a nice man who was asking us bout our travels and what we doing doing in Bridlington that night, he explained everything we needed to know including the door codes, wifi, drinking water facilities etc, we got to our room and it was beautiful, the decor was just like the pictures and was like an old vintage room, very clean and toilet/shower facilities in our room, we had a kettle and a selection of hot drinks and everything we needed for our one night stay, the following morning we woke up and went down for breakfast, a lady walked in a came across quite rude, not a greet, or a 'how was your stay' just bluntly telling us she didn't understand our breakfast choice, the breakfast was beautiful with plenty of choice, but again the lady cooking and serving just seemed rude and unhelpful, however the man was very nice! so all in all the only thing that let the hotel down was the ladies lack of welcoming to us, would return.

Clean & tidy. Good enough for our night out.

Needed a room for 3 female cousins for a day out & this place had a room available at a very reasonable price. Whole place was clean definitely can't criticise their standards. No parking - we went on a bank holiday Sunday & ended up miles away but when we went back to freshen up in the evening after all the day trippers had left we got a space right outside the gate.
Breakfast was very tasty but one of our party is picky so crossed off several items on her pick list so ended up with a very small breakfast - there was toast, cereal & fruit available but perhaps they could substitute crossed off items???
Comfortable enough to book again if we need to. Very close to everything you need in Brid. Would recommend to family & friends for sure.
Uses a code on the front door. We took a photo of it so we had it when we got back. Someone else didn't so the door bell was ringing well after midnight. We were sat on our beds chatting & watching TV so we were awake but as 3 females dressed in nightwear we didn't feel qualified to go to answer the bell!!!!! Eventually they must've got let in - not the hotels fault though. Rude guests can't be accounted for.

Unwelcoming and poor attitude to problems

When I arrived I was not made to feel welcome. It would have been nice to be asked if I had a good journey or where I had travelled from. When being shown my room I was not told about the latch on the door and this led to me being locked out of my bedroom at 4 am when visiting the toilet. I could not wake the owners as I did not know which room they were in. When I suggested in the morning that they might have pointed out the latch when I arrived I was told that it was just common sense. It should not be assumed that everyone has a latch or has stayed in a room with a separate bathroom before. I was told that if I had read the guest information when I arrived then I would have known which room they were in. Again it should not be assumed that guests have time to read the information when they arrive. There was no concern shown whatsoever to the situation I found myself in and in the end I was told that if I didn't like it I should leave and find a room somewhere else.

Gorgeous room & breakfast

We stayed here in for one night & wished we had stayed longer been to Bridlington a few times now for an overnight stay & all four of us agreed this was the best B&B we had stayed in there,
The room was beautiful & tastefully decorated & it was immaculate couldn't fault anything in the room bed was so comfortable with crisp white linen just what you would expect bathroom was beautiful & sparkling clean with plenty of towels & toiletries,
Host Christine was lovely very friendly & nothing seemed too much trouble,
The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous with the best choice all cooked to perfection & presented beautifully on the plate the attention to detail on the tables was second to none we will not attempt to try anywhere else in Bridlington now as I'm not sure you could find better for the price we can't wait or return & will probably stay for longer next time keep up the good work.
Just to add its a 5 minute walk from the town centre so in a great location also.
