Stayed at the hotel with friends as a base while visiting the area to play golf.
The hotel has a great central position.
Parking is at a premium however we were lucky to get the space directly outside all four days of our stay.
The hotel does not supply breakfast however they recommended a cafe nearby which was great.
The hotel in my opinion needs a makeover and a bit of TLC
The rooms just about squeeze the essentials into them however the quality of the furniture and beds (room 7) is pitiful. I appreciate I'm only paying £25 per night but and the price reflects this.
You're able to hear the street outside day and night as the windows aren't double glazed.
There's plenty of choice of beers at the bar and they had entertainment on for two of the nights of our stay.
Staff are friendly they get 10 out if 10.

Had a karaoke on. Very entertaining. Been to this hotel before and is clean toilets clean. Some good turns on. A bit dated but a good night out. Seem to be quite a few locals in. Sells 's bar snacks. Located centrally with parking at the back.

NOISE NOISE NOISE

No parking anywhere near, no breakfast, but at least you know this before you book, so can't hold it against them.
However, I didn't bargain for a week of drain digging outside my window starting at 8 am, jackhammers, stihlsaws, compactors, idiot workmen shouting (and bursting through the water main) I think you get the picture.
I took a photo through my single-glazed window but can't get it to upload.
This wasn't mentioned to me before I went and it's not as if you can go to bed early cause the noise inside the hotel is loud, I could hear the room below talking til 3.am and ended up banging on the floor in desperation.
Even if there hadn't been roadworks outside, it's still very noisy with traffic and seagulls.
I agree with the other reviewers....if you have no car and are just going to get blind drunk then it would probably do, although for 50 quid a room it's not very good value. I was supposed to stay for 4 nights, ran away after 2.

Went in this hotel for a late drink, had a singer on called rockin Roy, cheap drinks and a good laugh, looks like a nice hotel with plenty of room and large finning room, cheap room rates will definitely stay at this hotel
