Very basic and dated and smells old and stale. Stayed in room 2 very small and cramped as it had a double bed and a single bed but couldn't get to the tea making facilities with the extra bed in the room also the very small shower room door could barely open as was blocked by the bed! Owner was difficult to contact only saw him twice even though be knocked on his door a few times. The location was brilliant as just round the corner from a Wetherspoon which is needed as this b&b does not serve breakfast !

Basic but clean & Tidy

The outside could do with a lick of paint but inside was decent and clean. A few niggling things i.e. two light bulbs needed replacing. Owner was friendly and helpful. Location was convenient for all amenities. Would certainly stay there again.

Never again

We came here, 6 of us for Easter weekend. Paid £60 a night on each room with no breakfast, and quite frankly I'd have been disappointed paying £60 for the full 3 nights let alone per night with what it has to offer. Owner only seems interested in taking your money, saw him only twice, once was when asking us to leave key in the room on leaving and the other being on arrival. In the 3 nights we stayed, all 3 rooms were without hot water! No fresh towels!, we had one towel each to last us 3.5 days. There was no intention of cleaning the rooms at any point during our stay. On the last night the bin was emptied and some teabags, sugar etc was left! To say the rooms are outdated is a massive understatement, we spent three nights sleeping on a bed that the slats kept dropping out, very annoying. We didn't expect the ritz but £540 from our party alone, to stay here you would hope for a better level of service/comfort thats on offer here. We weren't the only ones that felt this way we spoke to others in hotel who were of the same opinion. This place is in no way shape or form a hotel/b&b it is room only, with nothing else to offer.

Perfect affordable weekend accomodation

Camille L on 20/12/2016 23:01

Staying here was lovely. Warm, comfy, with a king size bed and decent washroom facility. Proprietor very kind and accommodating, even though the site I booked through and then my bank messed up my payment a bit (it got sorted before I arrived). Very close to the seaside, and to shops, cafes and supermarkets. Also very close (less than 5 minutes walk) to the sold-out hotel in which my convention was being held, which was a lifesaver. Would recommend and would happily stay again.

Lovely large room with bath and pet friendly

The price was very cheap for such a lovely room. They let us in our room as soon as we arrived which was approx. 2 hours early. The room was pet friendly. The room had a bath and was very clean. The room was a very good size.
