I find it is close to the city and great for friends to come and join you in the bistro for a meal. Clean and basic, bit noisy in the morning when trucks start travelling, but usually saves an alarm clock.

Great value

My sister and I had 2 single beds, very roomy with a couch a d coffee table, fridge, kettle, hair drier tea and coffee. Only towels are provided, you'll hvae to provide the rest. Great location, Coles is exactly opposite (opens 6am to 12 midnight) and walking to the mall is about a 15 min walk. Hotel staff is very friendly, nothing is too small for them. Even had a call to ask if my cousin would like to be moved closer to our room for our peace of min talk of great service!

budget but clean

stayed here for a couple of nights during a recent trip down under. basic bit clean and fairly central. hard to beat for the price. restaurant in the building but run as a separate operation - no breakfast available

You get what you pay for.

At $89 a night, you can't expect too much, but a room that's doesn't smell awful as soon as you walk into it would be nice. You get used to the smell it's only as you come in the door. The towels could be replaced with something new. Although the bed was comfortable and clean. The noise all night made me wish I packed earplugs. For one night was okay, but we wouldn't want to be staying any longer. Service was fine, owner at the desk when we arrived at 3pm. Bathroom very cramped with no plug for bath and shower head an awful strong stream low head. At $89 you can't really complain, but wish I came prepared with earplugs and perhaps they should investigate the smell.

Lovely room

The receptionist was lovely and friendly.
The room neat and tidy, however the bathroom is a little dated, but still functional, none the less!
Location lets the accommodation down...
Got not very much sleep due to the constant stream of traffic all night (especially the trucks, slowing down and taking over from the traffic lights)
The only other issue I had, was the stairs.... after traveling for work presenting workshops, in the days prior to my stay, dragging luggage, workbooks, laptop, projector, from venue to venue I was very much over it, & tired..... there was no lift, so I had drag it all up the steep and narrow.

Would again, just with ear plugs 😉
