Gorgeous property!

The Peralynna is simply gorgeous! It is a duplicate of a CIA safe house in Germany and is really a big stately manor with beautiful rooms. It has a huge bay window in the main dining area, with an exquisite view. The dining area has a beautifully polished upright piano, soaring ceilings, many skylights, life sized statues, a recessed dining area, pretty tables and lots and lots of room. The buffet at happy hour is generous - wines as much as you want, cakes, cookies, cheeses, nuts and so on. The breakfast is made to order, they take your order and bring it out to your table. But you can help yourself to the cold bar to the side which has cereals, yogurts, fruits, juices, and so on, or the baked goods bar which has muffins, bagels, english muffins, cake slices, cookies etc, or to the 24/7 beverage counter which is always stocked with hot chocolate, coffee, tea, all tastefully arranged and with multiple classy choices. The manor has a library with a fireplace and comfy chairs, DVDs, books, a roomy game room downstairs with a pool table, a card table, board games, more books and DVDs. Everywhere there are smoke alarms and sprinklers for safety of guests, The rooms are not numbered but have letters of the alphabet, with swipe key access and are actually suites with a kitchenette and jacuzzi tubs. The kitchenette has a microwave, refrigerator stocked with free water bottles, a Keurig machine. Real china and real heavyweight silverware is used throughout the Inn, with real cloth napkins in the rooms. The Inn is a charming place that has all comforts to make you want to never leave your suite. Breakfast and Happy Hour hours are generous. The staff, however, is the crown jewel of this place - amazing personalized and caring service. They are happy to help in anything you want at any time. Our room had a private entrance which we loved, and another entrance into the Inn from the inside. The place is spic and span, inviting and quiet. Lots of framed accolades from numerous sources above the breakfast bar, which are well earned.

We were in the Ellicott City area for history research and discovered this property near by. It was very comfortable in the room and around the home. Other guests were there and talk was easy. Snacks and wine helped talk. Next morning was a full breakfast that got us ready to drive on. Of the many BnBs we stayed in, this was the one we would have liked to stay a few days longer.
A Must-Stay

The first thing you notice upon arrival is that this isn't your typical hotel. As hotels go, the layout is a bit odd -- because this is someone's home. (A home with an amazing story, but I'll let you discover that for yourself!) After meeting David and Cynthia Lynn, we knew we were staying with friends. This is the only hotel we've ever stayed where the owner hugged us goodbye.
The inn, itself, is full of luxurious touches, including wonderful Tempur Pedic mattresses, delightful nooks and crannies, peaceful outside spaces, and interesting antiques -- plus wine and nibbles in the evenings and a delicious made-to-order breakfast each morning. Best of all, these little extras come at a very affordable price.
We were here for business/anniversary trip, and were so happy we chose this quaint and unique place. If you're staying in the area, you MUST STAY HERE. And if you're not in the area, CHANGE YOUR ITINERARY. You won't be sorry you stayed!

This wonderful bed and breakfast was a most delightful stay. The rooms were very cozy, with micro, fridge and even a small fireplace in the room.
The bed was extremely comfortable and there were several pillows and a lovely comforter.
There were comfy robes to wear after a shower and great to have proceeding bed.
Breakfast in the morning was extremely delicious with great coffee. There was nothing you couldn't find, including wonderful omelettes.
The management at the property was very helpful and caring.
I'd strongly recommend this wonderful facility to anyone coming to this area.
