brilliant cottage great setting lovely village close to seaside good food in pubs and great fish and chips nearby bus stop over the road to scarborough only downside is the really noisy music from the Mayfield pub on Saturday night it must have kept the whole village awake and went on until 12 oclock

My husband and I stayed here overnight. We had been to a concert at the Open Air Theatre, booked in here to stay. It's really lovely. It's a house with separate bedrooms, the kitchen and lounge are communal. It is a fully fitted working kitchen, if you wish to take something to make you can. If I were to go again I would take something so we could have snacks. Tea and coffee are in the room and in the kitchen.
It's a lovely house to hire over a birthday/Christmas period.
We stayed in the purple room. The room is ... wow!!! There's a separate bathroom, bath, toilet sink and over bath shower. The bathroom is big. The bedroom is of a very good size, there was nothing I missed in the room. There is a honesty bar in the room that is well stocked.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay again it was so nice, clean, quiet.
Breakfast is served In the copper Horse. Ordered and cooked fresh. I had scrambled egg and smoked salmon, husband had full English breakfast. Both were are soooo nice , there's cereal, toast and fruit.
Checking out was smooth. There's parking at the Copper Horse.

The cottages are four bedroom houses with shared kitchen and living room. However they are very new, clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served in the Copper Horse which is a very short walk away.

we stayed the night to mark our wedding anniversary. our room was of the very highest standard. my wife has a lot of physical issues but the bed was the most comfy she has slept on in a long while. we really could not fault our stay at all

We stayed in the Yew Tree Apartment for 2 nights last week. We were pleasantly surprised by the high standard of EVERYTHING in this apartment. All appliances and decoration appeared new and state of the art. We had 2 dinners in the Plough and 1 lunch at the Copper Horse, both venues were decorated to a high standard and all staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. We had our 1 and 2 year old children with us, and still manged to feel as if we had enjoyed a relaxing break. We are already looking forward to returning!!
