Good Evening and Hello to everyone and to all Staff @ Trip.
I stayed here with 4 friends during 2nd week Sep 2017. We were given 2 rooms on the ground floor ....the lowest ....The hall way stank of fungus mould....no sunshine. The room was average . 2 double beds X 2 and one single bed.
Room service dinner was just edible. No room service after 11 pm.
Forget food after 11 pm. This property is quite far fetched in Lonavala . I am never quite sure who will deliver fresh food to your room.
The hotel breakfast was good. I must credit that. Lots of apprentice trainees ? IT / Hospitality Institutions ....Loud well dressed women...... They shouted the previous night and continues the tradition at breakfast counter.......God Bless Them.

I am writing this review very late as I have been here in Apr 2017. Hotel is situated at great location. You would get awesome view from room. Swimming pool was closed for maintenance. Room was clean. Food was very costly. Overall good and comfortable stay except costly food.

Stayed for 1 night with my family in nov 2017. Dukes retreat is one of the premium hotels in Khandala - Lonavala belt and offers very good view .
Property and hotel building is bit old and requires renovation. Deluxe rooms offers good view of the valley. Cottage rooms are good for family but with zero view. Food is overpriced.
Service is slow and staff is little amateur in handling matters. Hotel offers good open sky seating area where one can spend early mornings and evenings.
The hotel offers good outdoor playing area.
Deluxe rooms have good size with large beds and big bathrooms. Cleanliness is well maintained.
Prices for the hotel are high as skyrockets during weekends so always book well in advance.
Lonavala as a hill station has nothing to offer and is neglected place where the spots are poorly maintained with no safety and security.

Did one project outing through referral and received worst service from their coordinator and hotel staff. Even you pay for the package you will see hidden charges to use the amenities. You can't enjoy your day due to multiple restrictions which is unbearable. Poolside is also very small as they are showing fake pic in their images. Food was also average and even you can't stay 1 min more in your room. They will irritate you by doing multiple calls to check out from room as early as possible.
Very bad experience in this hotel and waste time.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. View from our room was fantastic overlooking the valley. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Room service was great though the menu is limited. Clean and large rooms.
