Evening meal in restaurant November 2017

Nice welcome having not booked a table and speedy attention and service..thank you.
However, the food...Crostini starter, Stuffed pepper starter then Seafood Thai Curry were all very dissapointing given the high prices! Very poor value for money and
unrefined and basic cooking that sadly did not come close to what we would cook for ourselves at home. Could not tell what was in the Thai Curry...a chilli mush on rice!
Will give the Falcon a miss until prices and quality of food match each other.
Such a comfy bed

We were able to stay here with the whole family (7 members ) for one night and all our rooms were very comfortable. Bed so comfortable my husband noted the manufacturers of the mattress and the pillows. Lovely views of the church and very handy for the village. A substantial breakfast and a jovial landlord made the stay even better. Would have liked to eat there but restaurant prices a little high for us with the whole family.
Family/birthday weekend

The family had come together from Sweden, Scotland and Plymouth with ages from 5 to 85. We had a lovely weekend, good food, excellent, friendly and cheerful staff. It was a memorable weekend for all. Many thanks to all
Lovely place for lunch

The ambiance was lovely in there and they have too many alternatives for lunch and breakfast. There is free car park nearby the place, so parking was no concern. I absolutely will go there again. And the lady who works there was so nice. We tried some sandwiches and they were really delicious.
Decent Lunch

Stopped into this nice town and found the Falcon for a spot of lunch. Food was decent - although the mushrooms on toast (a special) was a bit too creamy for me. I had visions of butter and garlic mushrooms - but this was quite different. The Pie was very good.
