We enjoyed our second stay here. The hotel is very well located close to the centre of Basingstoke. The owners have done a good job refurbishing and decorating. The property is kept very clean and well looked after. Hard to fault the breakfast, good choice and freshly cooked. The room we had was a good size but a bit characterless. The shower room was quite small.

We stopped at Fernbank hotel for three nights when we had tickets for Carfest south.
The hotel is lovely, clean and spacious. The breakfast that Ian put on was very good and set us up for the long days at the festival.
Ian arrange with us to obtain late entry and it was no trouble.
The hotel is ideally situated right next to the town center of Basingstoke and has a huge secure car park at the rear.
All in all an exelent location and accommodation at a resonable rate.

We booked four rooms here recently as we were attending a wedding in the local area. The hotel has good kerb appeal and plenty of parking (although the speed bumps up the narrow drive seem a little unnecessary!). We were in a rush when we checked in, but were welcomed by the owner who has run the place for the last few years and finished it to a high standard, including pristine new carpets throughout. The room was modern, clean, fresh and very comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and modern with excellent toiletries. We didn't book breakfast in advance, but the owner was very accommodating and cooked us a fantastic breakfast - well underpriced at just £7.50 per person! We couldn't fault this place, and for £90 per couple per night, it's great value! Thank you Fernbank Hotel!

This is a really good small hotel with excellent facilities and clean, modern bathrooms plus great secure parking around the back.
It was a perfect location for the party we attended at the Sports and Social Club nearby.
The rooms were comfortable and good value for money, and the breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff and modern decor made it a perfect choice for a pleasant stay in Basingstoke.

We had a one night stay at Fernbank hotel. It was within easy walking distance of the Anvil, the bedroom was spotless with a good shower and comfortable bed.
The breakfast was freshly cooked with a good choice. The hosts were great giving instructions and generally making a real effort to ensure you enjoy your stay.
