Arrived at Firs to be greeted by note on door . Please note Guest checking in today we are closed from 1pm to 5pm there is no access before 5pm.
Early check in by prior arrangement only. I was told any earlier and I would be charged £10.00. I'd booked through Booking .com other wise would have found some where else.Spent the afternoon walking streets in poring rain.Returned 4.50pm no reply. It wasn't until dead on 5.00 pm we were allowed in.
None of the doors fitted correctly and could be heard slamming all night.
couldn't get Wi fi as advertised.
WE WON'T BE STAYING AGAIN. WISH I'D READ REVIEWS PRIOR TO BOOKING

We booked this b+b last minute after our airbnb cancelled. It was very well located and walkable distance to the hoe and Barbican. Rooms were clean with ensure bathrooms and breakfast was good- options of continental or English breakfast. There is no sitting room but there are plenty of places locally to sit if it is raining. Of note the b+b is not open from 1-5 for checking in so if you are going to arrive at this time call ahead and they will organise to be there.

Had to go on a very last minute work trip to Plymouth. The Firs was very accommodating about my late arrival in the evening. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom facilities were good.
Breakfast was tasty and filling. I would certainly stay there again if I had to return to Plymouth.

Good budget B and B very clean very warm very well decorated very good breakfast rooms Cosy ensuite good choice to have beds comfy overall experience was very good parking is on the road but be careful for traffic wardens but you can find a car park very close the the firs good budget bnb

Very friendly great value if staying on a budget. City centre,The Hoe and Barbican all within walking distance and a great breakfast to start the day off. Will certainly use again. Don't be put off by shared shower and toilet ,all kept very clean and you do have a sink in your bedroom.
