Great hotel
DaytripsBelfaston 21/11/2017 20:54Had a very enjoyable stay in this hotel. A warm and friendly greeting on arrival from excellent staff. The room was well presented.
The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the centre and within walking distance to a vast choice of bars and restaurants and the main shopping area.
Would definitely stay here again when I revisit Limerick.

Mark-Debra Ron 21/11/2017 03:51This hotel has a very small frontage and you can easily miss it. It only has one set of escalators and they either go up or down depending on the time of day. The stairs are very steep and there is also an elevator as well.
The rooms are nice and the bed was comfortable. The windows were also able to be opened. The room also had air conditioning but it was set at 17C and you could not turn it off or up which made it very chilly in the evening.
The restaurant is nothing special with the breakfast selection being very limited and the quality was certainly lacking. The restaurant is not that big and trying to navigate your way through large numbers of people at breakfast is very frustrating.
Overall I would not stay at this hotel again.

TravellersGoldCoaston 19/11/2017 05:15The George is a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the city. It is easy walking distance to shopping and dining and access to the river and tourist attractions.
Our room was large with excellent amenities - although the view was into a central courtyard. Nicely appointed with a table and easy chairs, very clean and quiet.
Unfortunately we only had one night at The George, but could easily have stayed longer.
The bar in the lobby was bright and offered a good selection of drinks and food - although there were some issues with service and staff were arguing in front of customers, which was a bit awkward.

lelfooton 13/11/2017 19:34Stayed here for three nights. The hotel is lovely, staff are very friendly. Rooms are a good size and the bed is extremely comfortable. The bar restaurant is also very good, really nice staff and funky decor. Ideal spot, central to all the lively pubs and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

So that was a great night in a good big room with a great view. Very friendly personal gave us useful recommendations, Well situated this place is good for basic stay.
