We were very excited to stay here and had heard good things - however, we were quite disappointed. Our room was dirty. The bathroom floor has someone else's hair on it, the carpet did not look vacuumed and the dressers and other surfaces were quite dusty.
The fireplace in the room was lovely and the decor was quaint. But it was not enough to make up for the lack of cleanliness.

Our favourite place to stay in the Canmore/Banff area. Rooms are large with some of the most comfortable beds anywhere. They have a few pet-friendly rooms which are easily accessible and still have the cosy fireplace. The hotel is like a comfortable shoe...a great fit, a bit worn. There is also a wonderful pub which serves superb breakfasts and great food. No need to leave the building!

The staff is friendly, the restaurant serves fantastic food, and the rooms are stunning. My wife and I stay here every time we're in Canmore, and it makes our whole weekend feel so much more special!!

Very nice hotel, little pricey for what you get. No hot tub, no pool, no gym. Very close to railroad track so if youre a light sleeper its not for you. Expensive pub, but it is a mountain town none the less so what do you expect. Great tub, fire place was nice. Good staff.

Staff are kind and helpful. Restaurant service and food are A1. Rooms are large, comfortable, and quiet. Love the fireplace and the large bathtub. Good decor in the rooms. We were there at Halloween and they had a maze with ghouls and other Halloween creatures for the children enjoyment and we the adults enjoyed the Halloween decor.
