Filthy and fetid - NOT a hotel!

This is NOT a hotel. It is closer to a hostel or one of those motels you see in the movies. The entire building smelt of weed and general musty odour. The room was filthy - dirt on the floor, stains on the bedding and on the walls, the curtain, the doors.. everywhere.
There was no power in the main sockets, and NO water pressure in the shower! It was literally just a trickle. I paid £30 for this room which of course, is very cheap, but even this room was not worth £30!
The worst was that it was VERY noisy - a couple staying in the room below us has a screaming session at 3am until the early hours of the morning, and the other guests looked like they were alcoholics or on drugs - everyone was incredibly noisy and I did not sleep at all.
It's rare that I write a review for somewhere, but this place truly is terrible. It is not worth even one night. It's appalling that someone can charge people to stay in a place like this - it was quite literally falling down.
A Lovely Night in a Delightful Cesspit

The free Philadelphia and salami in the desk drawer were a welcome surprise but i would have preferred if they had been refrigerated.
The smell of cannabis wafting through the halls constantly created a delightfully bohemian atmosphere, and the lack of any staff presence whatsoever (with the exception of the delightful lady who helpfully hammered on my door at 10am to mumble that i had 5 minutes to leave lest I be charged £50) really made me feel at home.
The mugs and kettle were greatly appreciated. As someone who despises hot beverages, it was really handy to have none of the plug sockets along the wall where the kettle was located work, so i could use the kettle as a decanter with which to pour my complimentary tap water into my mugs.
As i suffer from agoraphobia, it was really helpful that not only could i open the window no more than an inch, but the window itself was covered with an unretractable blind, meaning none of that pesky natural light and very little fresh air was able to enter the room, which suited me just fine.
I also highly approve of the hotels commitment to saving energy, albeit it by cutting all power to the entire building between the hours of 10pm and 8am. It's great to see such environmental awareness in the hotel industry, and the fact that I had to go to the toilet in fathomless darkness, tripping over the loose laminate flooring, didn't bother me in the slightest.
One of the spoons provided with the mugs was a little dirty. 9.5/10
Dont Go

Whilst staying in Norwich I needed somewhere to park my car overnight. I walked past this hotel several times and noticed you could pay to park in the rather empty carpark even if you weren't a guest.
I rung the number provided on the sign and prebooked my space. I got a booking confirmation and a receipt.
5 days later I got a bill for a fine for unauthorised parking!!! It was for a random 30mins within my booked time.
Rang the number on the paperwork and it's all automated. No chance of speaking to anyone!
Have emailed, with all documentation of purchase. If they think they are getting anything out of me then they can think again.
Rubbish!!
AWFUL

We arrived 45 minutes early and got a hefty parking fine a month later. The receptionist was only interested in painting her nails. There was a two inch gap in the door which leads to the outside. There was no soap and the place was a flea pit. Do not use this place.
