We recently stayed here for a weekend break with friends. Can’t fault the hotel. Ideal base in O’Connell street, rooms quiet despite being in the centre of Dublin, hotel clean, staff friendly. Perfect

Great atmosphere great service best steak ever amazing food and very reasonable. The hotel is currently undergoing construction work but it’s not a problem I would recommend anyone to stay here 5th or 6th visit never disappointed much better than other hotels at the price central for everything stay here you won’t be disappointed.

We stayed here for one night after landing in Dublin. I had heard great things about this hotel, however it disappointed. The foyer area was lovely, but unfortunately that's where it ended. The bed was so hard, and pillows not much better. They didn't even provide face washers and the shampoo was via a container on the wall which was not nice at all.
We will not be back.

this hotel is suppose to be a 4 star hotel, I definitely would not give it a 4 star at all. when we arrived the girl behind the desk hadn't a clue what she was doing and we had to wait until after 3 o' clock which we weren't happy about because we wanted to have a shower and change before we went to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre. the room were tiny for a 4 star hotel. before we left for the Bord Gais we had something to eat in bar food was nice but €4 for a small bottle of coke!! I've been to Paris several times and did not even pay for that for a 500ml bottle of coke. we then asked staff what stop to get off at for the Bord Gais and the didn't have a clue where to get off or where the Bord Gais was; what staff in a hotel doesn't know this information?? at 4:15am we were woken up by shouting on the corridor right outside our room, the guards were even called you definitely wouldn't expect this in a 4 star hotel when we checked out this morning we complained about it and they didn't even care they had no empathy at all that we were kept awake for an hour and half. if you want WiFi forget about it, it was the slowest thing I've ever experienced. we will definitely not be staying here again!!!!

The location is good with some nice restaurants and bars in walking distance. The staff is friendly and competent. I enjoyed bot a drink in the bar after a long day and a really good breakfast in the morning.
