The hotel was ok. The breakfasts were good, but did not like the dinners. As to service, they are quite attentive, the rooms were made up very fast, they are very helpful, except at times in the dining areas they did leave us abandoned. The water in the shower goes on/off which is a bit annoying, and the stone steps leading to the back rooms are very uncomfortable to walk, several people complained about this. However, other than this, we enjoyed the hotel
The location is very good because it is more centrally located to the new museum as well as downtown Merida. The other Haciendas are at least 1-hour away. We would stay there again.

Travelled with family and had an amazing experience in this beautiful Hacienda. The rooms were gorgeous and the staff was very kind and attentive.
The restaurant is also beautiful with a wonderful view to a garden. The food was delicious!
I truly recommend this place!

Hacienda Xcanatun is quite likely the best kept secret you want to keep for yourself. The hotel is simply exquisite. We went there over the course of the last ten and it remains simply amazing. Beautiful rooms (less than 20), nicely decorated, not to mention a bathroom you may want to spend your day in ! The hacienda is located on a beautiful property, amazing nature including some incredible birds.
The restaurant is also great.. outside terrace is a must to enjoy the natural sound of the hacienda. And, service is simply great. Nice, attentive, efficient.. so I can only highly recommend this place and wish we come back some other time soon.

We visited the Hacienda with clients for dinner. What a beautiful place. I would love to stay here on my next visit to Merida.
The Restaurant was traditionally decorated but very stylish and clean. The staff were excellent throughout with a well polished level of service.
I am vegetarian so would like to see a few more options on the menu rather than just pasta. One of our group recommended the mushroom risotto which we requested without shrimp for me. Wow. What a delicious surprise. Best risotto I have ever eaten - with a delicious smoky chilli flavour that was totally unexpected.

We just wish that they had a not so noisy air conditioning system. I am sensitive to noise and a light sleeper. The noise kept waking me up. Everything else was amazing. The food was excellent. The warm sweet bread in the morning was delightful. We felt at home.
