Went for daughters 21st birthday celebrations, great location for bars and restaurants. Good clean room and lovely breakfast, ideal for nights out as yes it is slightly noisy as your on a Main Street so not ideal for children, but as we was out drinking we were fine.

This is a great little hotel right in the centre of Liverpool. Fantastic value for money in a decent city, staff are very friendly,rooms are very clean,beer is top notch,
breakfast is good,
Would recommend staying here.

The hotel is well located, offers functional rooms at a very good price.
I was in Liverpool meeting friends, and for a clean room, good en suite, central hotel, this place can't be beat.
Yes, it was noisy late night, but they are open about it, and drink enough and you don't care.
Unfortunately didn't sample breakfast, see above, but for the money, with breakfast, great deal.

A group of us stayed at the Hanover on Saturday night as we went to Circo round the corner. We were expecting something cheap and cheerful to get our heads down, but were actually really pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were.
First of all we parked at Q Park which was close to the hotel and was £11 for overnight.
On arriving at the hotel the man behind the desk was really friendly and helpful. There was no lift but he carried my bag upstairs for me.
The rooms had obviously been refurbished recently so all paintwork was nice, the rooms were clean, the towels in the bathroom were fluffy and the beds were clean and comfy. I stayed in room 16 which had 4 singles but the room had half a dividing wall so this made it feel like 2 rooms. This room cost £160 so for £40 each it was an absolute steal! The bathroom was quite small but was fine for what we needed.
There was a bit of noise from the bar late on but you expect this in the centre of town and with a pub attached. I think a couple of the twin rooms overlooked the street so were a bit noisier from what my friends said.
McCartneys bar was really good and lively at night. Breakfast was included (served in McCartneys) and while not the best I've ever had it was generous portions considering it was included in the price. (Remember £40 per person in a quad room!!). The waitress worked her socks off and they were accommodating about leaving items off (eg tomato, egg) if people requested.
All in all I would stay here again if I was on a night out with friends. Maybe not if I wanted a really quiet night but if I wanted that I wouldn't be staying in the main pub district!

This hotel meets our needs for our weekends away , staff are very friendly ,this was our 2nd visit and have booked for next year , It is central ,the breakfast was good and served by a hard working lady , the man behind the desk was helpful and friendly . Thank you all
