Arrived earlier than we thought so decided to try and book in before we went onto our destination for the day.
We asked any chance of breakfast and although gone 9.30 the owner obliged with a lovely English breakfast and showed us to our room to leave our luggage.
We had booked a table for dinner and weren't disappointed lovely ambiance and great food,customer service was second to none nothing was too much trouble.
We stayed another night and again food was really good,and breakfast superb.

My Director and I stopped in for a place to work and hopefully some warm food. Unfortunately we were to late for lunch and to early for dinner. So it was crisps and nuts for a meal. The place had a very nice feel, easy to work in and the fire just topped it off. The staff were very pleasent and friendly. I will go back next time I'm visiting clients in that area.

I stayed for 2 nights last week. I had a large room, which was well furnished and comfortable. Breakfasts are cooked to order and they use excellent local sausages and bacon.
We had a family meal there on Thursday night and everyone enjoyed the food and the service.
Overall, a very good (and friendly) place to stay.

Two tired and weary travelers arrived in the warm and comfortable Hatch Inn after travelling for eight hours . We were received cheerfully by the proprietor who booked us in , sorted out our evening meal and then took us up to our tastefully furnished , spacious bedroom and ensuite . The menu for the evening meal was varied and unusual and we thoroughly enjoyed our choices . The bed was exceedingly comfortable and we felt refreshed in the morning . The breakfast was served promptly and was of a high standard - you choose what you want the night before and book a time to be served . We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Hatch to anyone for the warm ,friendly service and the good food .

Great food, comfortable beds, very welcoming hosts, what more could you ask.
Log fire a bonus as it turned cool whilst we were there.
Not far from Taunton and the M5 so easy access but quiet surroundings.
Will hope to do a return trip soon.
