We booked for the view and weren't disappointed - on a lovely sunny evening we sat on the bed with a cup of tea and watched the sun go down over Rye! We were lucky to have a room at the front - as shown on booking. Very clean and comfortable. The hotel has a lovely feel to it and is located right in Rye, through cobbled streets with more parking than we expected and easy access to the town. The bar was popular and the restaurant menu looked good although we ate elsewhere. Staff were lovely and we had a good sleep.
The cooked breakfast was fresh although quite small (particularly the vegan option) but there was cereal and (very thin) toast available. We also experienced some noise from what may have been air con, twice during the night, sounded more like Con Air taking off. Wouldn't put us off returning though, we really enjoyed our stay.

We went for my wife’s birthday. Great place fantastic staff can’t do enough for you. I like the location and the view from our room. We defiantly come back here again. Rye is a beautiful place and my wife loved the little Christmas shop. Can I give it a bad comment no not at all.

The hotel is lovely, the staff can’t do enough for you. Restaurant menu was a little limited but other than that I can’t say there was anything that wasn’t up to scratch. Rye is a lovely place and we will definitely return.

This charming hotel is set at the heart of the beautiful old town of Rye and offers a very comfortable stay. The staff are extremely kind and attentive - we wanted for nothing. Our room was clean and pleasant - if slightly dated - with extensive views over the quays and way beyond. The restaurant has a good menu and the food is of excellent quality. Breakfast was superb and service second to none. The bar is well stocked with a more than adequate seating area. In short we had a very enjoyable experience here and would thoroughly recommend this delightful hotel to anybody coming to stay in Rye. This is a little gem.

We visit Rye every now and then and decided to come back to this Hotel. Why? Because it’s in a perfect location to explore Rye, parking outside, great food and charming staff. Most of the rooms have excellent views as well as all the facilities you will ever need. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
