Needs improvement

We found a few issues. We were in the annex. The bathroom sink has no stopper so we both lost caps to tubes down the drain. The bathroom couldn't be smaller. The shower head leaked at the fitting. The bed didn't just squeak, it squawked. The room is paneled with knotty pine, which makes it very dark. Not that they should paint it, but just so you know. Breakfast is between 9 and 10, which is late for us. The breakfasts were slow in coming and the food was uninspired. Plus who only has raisin bread for toast? We won't be back.
Gorgeously historical

This was my family's first trip to a bed and breakfast and we chose the Inn of Brevard the house is 137 years old so creaky floors are to say the least it was absolutely stunning the Furnishings are antiques with a little flare of the present when staying in an old house such as this you have to enjoy the quirkiness of the house with our stay we were served a family style breakfast in the beautifully appointed sunroom with more food than my family of four could eat the staff was great and helpful and it even has a bar for cocktails at night if you would like
Another great stay!

My wife and I had another great stay the nights of July 7 and 8, 2017. We've stayed here several times before over the past few years, and would not consider staying anywhere else in Brevard. It is a strangely unique place. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast here is the standard by which all other breakfast meals are measured. If you want the ordinary and bland, don't stay here.
First time stay

So was not able to get a decent rate at a hotel and decided to stay here due to it's great location. The Inn, while it has a lot of neat antiques, to us has too many. Our room was cluttered with them. While our room had a window AC unit, it was not running when we arrived so our room was very, very warm. Be forewarned that breakfast is not served until 9am, and coffee is not available until 8am (unless you make it yourself in the guest galley), which is a deal breaker for us. Our bathroom also had some issues (two holes in the plaster above the medicine cabinet, and the enamel was flaking off in the tub as well as our toilet was a child's size toilet). The location is great though, easy walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants, etc.
Love the Inn at Brevard!

We have found the Inn at Brevard to be wonderful...beautiful setting, great staff, victorian era furnishings but also very clean and comfortable. We made our reservations before seeing some of the negative reviews and almost cancelled after reading them but are extremely glad we didn't- We are in the "Gentleman's Suite" and couldn't be happier with our lovely accomodations along with being just steps from fine dining restaurants and lovely boutique shops! We will choose the Inn at Brevard the next time we are in this charming mountain town
