I had some challenges in getting in to my room. The front desk person was trying to double charge me due to some computer issues and it required me calling hotels.com to clear up the situation. This added 45 minutes to check in. Once checked in I found the room very unsanitary with a strong odor of cigarette smoke. The wifi also did not work. Overall, I would not recommend. Spend the extra 20-40 a night and have more piece of mind.

Arrived and checked in. Went to room and walked in. Reeked like cigarette smoke. Room was dirty and disgusting. I would not lay my head on that bed. Paint cracked on walls, plumbing ancient, kitchen disgusting. Not to mention.. when we arrived back from shopping at 8pm.. a rodent (rat) ran under the oven!! We went to office.. no one would answer or come to door. Dropped key amd left. Absolutely horrified. ewww!! Called and refused to refund room.. even though we didnt even stay. Pictures lie. DO NOT stay here.

This hotel is a decent little place at a great price. The rooms are clean and there's a little kitchenette with a fridge, microwave. We have two rooms joined by the kitchenette, and one bathroom. There are separate entrances for the two rooms, or you can all enter via one room. There is a nightstand, tv with dresser, dining table and two chairs, and a closet in one room. The other has the nightstand and dresser, but also includes a desk and the bathroom.
The owner has the rooms nicely decorated with lovely, soft bed covers, pleasingly painted and lovely pictures. It's clear that she cares about her hotel.
The Inn at Salmon Creek is easily accessible and very close to a number of great eateries and stores, including Safeway. The Panda Express is absolutely delicious, as is Billygans.

Me and my husband came here to stay we book it off Expedia. I was thinking it was a great price but knowing it was a cheaper place to stay when we got there to check in it was super late so me and my husband where super tired so when we got into our room it smelled so bad, it was extremely hot, the little kitchen was so gross looked like someone didn't clean it good, there was barely any soap to use in the bathroom and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. On top of that there was a hole in the wal and our bed sheets where stained. Let me say I get there are cheaper hotels but if you are going to have people stay and pay money make. Comfortable for them and clean and why not turn on the air conditioner if it's been 90 out that day? Instead of guest coming into what feels like a sauna room. I'm very disappointed I really wish we could get our money back they really need to change things at this place! Tell then don't stay here spend the extra 10-15 dollars on a better place!

We fully expected this to be a crappy little motel, but we were wrong. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The king size mattress was thin, but surprisingly comfortable. Our room even had a oven in it. We did not get a chance to use it, but it was there. This is an older motel, so the bathtub had a couple chips in it. But the tub itself was huge. The only thing I didn't like is they do not allow pets. Luckily we knew that before we got there and arranged for our dogs to stay with family. We will definitely stay here again.
