October half term visit

Just on the way home from Blackpool and very pleased with our stay. Pauline was an excellent host, knowledgable about the area and especially kind to our toddler. We had a family room which was clean, warm and comfy with a nice shower room. Also had a little fridge which was handy for my toddlers milk and yoghurts although it’s only a mini fridge (for 8 cans of drink) so don’t need it for too much. Good selection for breakfast and kept us going through all of our site seeing! The location is great and only around a 10 min walk to the tower, winter gardens, Viva Vegas and the theatre. Parking was tight but Pauline was very accommodating and helped us find a spot nearby. Thank you for a lovely stay, would come again if we visit Blackpool again!

Lovely place to stay

We stayed here in Sept for a couple of nights. The rooms were really comfy and quiet with a good sized bathroom.
Ideally situated off the main drag so quieter but within easy walking distance to the seafront and Tower etc.
The landlady was really friendly and helpful....her breakfasts were fantastic too.
Will definitely stay again

Typical B&B with awesome breakfast!

Breakfast:

Everything was very yummy and eventhough we don't eat so heavy breakfast each day we felt very good after a meal. No stomach issues or anything like that so it tells me that everything is very fresh and made a minute before serving.

Tea and coffee are very good, this is nice that you have a whole teapot. You can also choose something like small cereal boxes, fruits, yoghurts. You can also decide what elements of typical english breakfast you are willing to eat - I am not a huge fan of meat so I got mine withouth sausage and bacon - but still delicious. Size of breakfast is perfect. You can also decide that you want to eat something different - like scrambled eggs instead of english breakfast. You have a list to choose but you need to say it a day before which is obvious.

Rooms:

Rooms are very clean - especially bathroom. Beautiful shower cabin - white with glittering elements. Awesome that you have a tea and coffee set with mugs and towels (big and small) and most needed toilet accessories like soap, cups etc. On bed you can find some information about Blackpool attraction that is really nice idea.

We didn't have a great view - it was on a backyard but we really didn't care.The most important thing is that this place is so close to everything! Few steps from bus station, pier, center, sealife, madame tussauds museum and of course blackpool tower. Just perfect location.

One thing was quite suprising - we expect small room but when we were booking it we got information that it is bigger - so probably there is some inaccuracy on the site. We were here for 3 days so still room was perfect for such short visit but I can't imagine to come here with huge luggage, or maybe for that kind of visit it is better to book room that is suitable for 1 person more. Totally unnecessary is ironing board in the closet - I understand that it raises a standard but to be honest you do not have place to use it in the room so what is the point of having it in the closet? I would prefer to have more place for my suitcase in the closet than that.

The only one thing that could be better : bed mattress. I think that it was quite old type and quite hard.

About hotel's policy : no stag parties and so on I understand it completely! You assume that people in your hotel want to have calm and peaceful stay. And any "unpropriate questions" to guests are probably because of some bad previous experience of the owners. I had few lovely chats with Pauline and I can say that she is very helpful and friendly person. She was very caring.

At the very end: You can leave your bags before your departure in lobby that is extremely helpful if you still have few hours to leave (ex. by bus) and you do not want to pay for next hotel night.

I strongly recommend Kingscliff Hotel as a place when you can find good food, friendly atmosphere and fine rooms for a decent price.

Great little hotel

Hi stayed hear for 2 nights for the Soul weekend. Been Blackpool many times and last years B&B was not what was described and the wife wasn't impressed! So I was under pressure this year and the Kingscliff didn't let me down! Free on site parking staff lovely and breakfast which I made one morning was lovely. Providing the same people are still running it next year we will be booking it again. Oh 10 min walk from winter gardens !

Fantastic Place

Just spent 2 nights here with my sister and I must say this is a little gem. There was scaffolding on the outside which doesn't look great but once you step inside it's lovely. Pauline warmly welcomed us even though we arrived about 9:30pm on the Friday.

Our room was up 2 flights of stairs, a lovely clean and modern room with en suite. Room had a sofa, plenty of cupboard and drawer space, hairdryer, mini fridge, fan, tea/coffee facilities and ironing board (iron can be requested from Pauline). Shower was hot with a boost for the pressure.. didn't want to get out! TV worked fine with all channels.

Breakfast was most definitely the best part of this stay! Everything was cooked to perfection and we felt stuffed both mornings, nothing was too much for Pauline. There was also cereal, yoghurts, fruit and snack bars etc.

Perfect location for everything. A 10 minute walk to the tower and shops, 10 minute drive to the pleasure beach as well.
