My husband and I stayed at the Langham for the second time in November, 2017.We have stayed at several very nice hotels in Chicago; the Langham is particularly well-located if attending the theater, museums, Millennium Park, Navy Pier attractions. It is expensive, but the service is outstanding, rooms very comfortable and well-appointed and beautifully decorated. Would have preferred a separate bathtub and shower; they were oddly side-by side in one glassed-in enclosure. Also seemed to be rather a lot of hall noise the night we visited. Otherwise, it was a glorious experience. Particularly comfortable bed and extremely helpful, nice staff - doorman, housekeepers, servers in the bar and dining room, front desk staff. Definitely recommend, particularly if you plan to spend most of your time near the Chicago river area.

We booked this hotel for a birthday trip to see Hamiton (amazing show BTW) and from the moment we arrived we realized we were special. The greetings from the Valet through the check in process were first rate and personalized.
The property is amazing, with high quality woodwork and artistic design. Our room was perfectly laid out with a deep soaking tub, rainshower and a beyond comfortable bed. Other features include the little bar cabinet with all the glassware you need as well as a high end coffee machine, no need for Starbucks...
We dined in the main restaurant and again service beyond with food to match. The Branzino is the dish to pick...
If you are going into Chicago for special event, make the stay special as well at The Langham.

Had an incredible stay-cation in a fabulous suite at the Langham Chicago. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived and, cannot thank the staff enough! Our room was a beautiful and massive. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay warm and welcome. I cannot express how pleased we were and, cannot wait to return! 10 out of 10!

It’s easy to see why The Langham Chicago is named the #1 Hotel in the U. S.
It’s brand new, the finishes are top notch, the service is wonderful and the location is perfect!
Had a wonderful stay. Check-in was flawless and my room was ready even with an incredibly early arrival. Just make sure to keep the front desk posted of your arrival time and they do their best to get you in immediately. But I almost didn’t want to leave the lobby as their flower displays are so beautiful. I had to have an arrangement for my own house (from local Chicago company Luxe Bloom). Spectacular!
Speaking of nice touches, even their glassware is top notch. At their restaurant, Travelle, they have the most beautiful martini glasses and I made sure to buy some for my own home.
The hotel room was spacious, and offered a wonderful view of the Chicago River. All of the attractions you want to see are within walking distance (Michigan Avenue, endless shopping, restaurants, etc).
But don’t wander too far as you must check out Chuan Spa. Truly one of the best big city spas in the world, and I’ve been lucky enough to go to a lot of them.
I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

If you're looking prime location and friendly staff. This is the place to stay. The property is amazing and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The main attraction is the staff, there is no better staff in Chicago.
