I was booked in here to stay for a few day in November 2017, however I cancelled the booking in arrival. It is definitely one of, if not the worst hotel in Northampton. Rude staff and very unclean. It seems reasonably priced but it is really not worth it.

Arrived Saturday early afternoon and got booked in and the keys to our room were given immediately. Room was spacious and relatively clean. A few cobwebs around the ceiling but the beds and bathroom were all fine. Having read some reviews on here I was a little sceptical about what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The room was nice and warm (much appreciated yesterday!), although my husband struggled somewhat with the stairs as we were on the top floor. I slept well and really enjoyed the lovely breakfast this morning - it was amazing and the service was faultless. For a budget hotel this was really good. At the end of the day, if you want 5 star luxury you will pay and stay elsewhere, but for a short stay this was really great value for money. It is good to have secure on sight parking (although the ‘road’ into the car park is in desperate need of some TLC), and the hotel is only a 10 minute walk into town.

What a great hotel! It is run by a really welcoming family and Mary is a superb host!
Breakfast was very nice, hot and fresh!
Rooms are very clean and are a good size. Big double shower.

If you like 60s / 70s reto and the lingering aroma of greasy spoon then this is for you. Unfortunately, due to a long days travel ( from Austria ) we arrived late to a less than warm welcome. No Bar service, food, car park was full, no lift, dreary decor and unfortunate smell in the air. The breakfast was good but uninspired, as I said very retro. Shame really could be a lovely little hotel but seriously needs a make over and new customer approach.

What a lovely hotel. I stayed here for a night and was nothing but impressed. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms are spacious and whilst slightly dated, it took me back to holidays with my grandparents when I was a child. Our room was spotless and there was everything we needed. If you are looking for clinical, this probably isn't the hotel for you but if you are looking for homely, inexpensive and friendly, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.
The breakfast was great, plenty of it and a good selection.
So nice to see a family hotel nowadays and this one was very well run.
We couldn't have asked for more!
