I was invited for an overnight business meeting and my hosts put me up at the Leela Palace, Bangalore. The Hotel was a good 2 hour drive away from the airport & you cant imagine Bangalore traffic and after this The Leela Palace happened to me! I lobby is like an Emperor's court & probably has the best hotel-porch in the country. I was explained that the architects have designed the hotel porch in such a way that they have a cool breeze blowing through the area even in the hottest of summers! Even in sultry warm weather, we enjoyed the cool breeze sitting on the ornate sofas in the porch area. My room on the 5th floor was Heaven:) The room was quiet, large, luxurious and Shah Jahan would be proud of it. The bathroom was large with excellent bathroom amenities. The shower pressure, water temperature, the aroma in the bathroom were uber-fantastic. I regret I spent just 4 hours in the room! I had my shower and was down in the bar and then two different restaurants on the lobby level till 2am. The food-drink-ambience-service was like Indians say - Athithi Devo Bhavo! The hotel epitomizes Indian 5-star hospitality at its best!

Stayed at the Leela Palace on business and had a very good trip. I am allergic to gluten and the hotel was very obliging with a chef giving me his business card to contact him when i needed food. He always checked on me at breakfast to make sure I was getting the correct food, and specifically arranged gluten free bread for me. The hotel rooms were very good - big, clean, very stylish and comfortable. The hotel grounds were also very pleasant

Great hotel, good location, Bangalore weather - warm, nice evening breeze. Service and food were excellent. Five star experience. The lobbies and restaurants are well appointed. Beautiful gardens and an exquisite pool area.

While visiting my friends in Bangalore we visited this hotel for a buffet lunch, It certainly was a 5* experience. The service was excellent. The variety, quantity and quality of the food was outstanding. Beautiful gardens and surroundings There is a shopping area attached which is easily accessible.

The Leela Palace is an experience in itself. Great hotel, the ambiance is very very good. Manicured lawns are great for walks. The breakfast and lunch buffets are excellent. Found some great souveniers in the small mall within the hotel
