Late booking as decided to stay in Manchester following watching concert at MEN, easy to find and when we booked in was given an upgrade with a balcony which was on the 14th floor the view was fab ! Receptionist was really friendly and chatty, On entering the apt was very surprised 2 lovely bedrooms tastefully decorated, a large bathroom and then a fab room with kitchen with all the amenities you have at home in all rooms , it was really great the bedroom was so quiet, bed and pillows really comfy. Location excellent virtually opposite the Arndale centre, Tesco next door, short walk away from the printworks with bars and eating places, and short walk to MEN, has carpark which we used, unfortunately not there long enough this time to use the gym, the seating areas in reception very modern and welcoming with its own bar, complimentary grab and go breakfast which was an added bonus, on checkout today the receptionist was very friendly informative and accommodating we will definately be returning to The Light Aparthotel nothing to duslike and will be recommending to family and friends Thank You

We booked a two bed executive apartment for my wife & our two kids. This was on the thirteenth floor and had fabulous views over the city.
The hotel is literally a stones throw from the Arndale which made our (read my) decision to go to the Trafford Centre first particularly foolish given the traffic on the day.
The room itself was so clean you could literally eat your dinner from the floor. The kitchen area was spotless and all the conveniences you'd need for a short stay.
The on site car park is charged extra which I knew and understood. In case it helps someone else, it is to the left of the hotel, I got confused took a gamble on the right and ended up going around the one way system again. :(
The cark park itself is probably most suitable for an experienced driver with a small car. I have a large SUV and the shape of the car park along with the A shaped supports means that at points you will barely be able to slide a piece of paper between your car and the wall! I did get it in and out eventually though. Did use the wife to stand outside and tell me when to stop though.
The grab & go breakfast is suffice and a nice touch.
The kids were more than happy which means I'm more than happy!
Would definitely stay again but next time park elsewhere! I don't think my nerves could take a second round.

Good clean place , value for money
was a bit cold but once the flats are warmed up its okay. Great location and Friendly staff. I had the 12 th floor apartment was so great to have the city view . decent take off break fast with muffins and fruits .

Stayed here for one night for my boyfriend's 21st birthday. Reception were lovely and upgraded us from a studio apartment on the first floor to a two bedroom apartment with a balcony overlooking the city centre! £100 deposit was needed for the room, I received this back into my account after 5 days. No problems at all!

Honestly fell in love with this place from the moment I set through the door!
Beautifully presented lobby area with a very classy modern feel, staff were very well mannered and very helpful!
Requested an executive room and was upgraded to a double executive room at no extra cost!!
The modern feel continued up to the Very generously sized apartment itself, very spacious with a large bathroom, two well sized bedrooms with wardrobe space, flat screen televisions and floor to ceiling windows! Great kitchen area with a variety of cutlery and utensils, although we chose to eat out it would've been a breeze to eat in with a large fridge-freezer too. The living space was great, flat screen television with a sofa and a 4 seater table. The balcony was amazing and the view across Manchester was incredible and only became better at night! See photos!
I asked to have a room quite high up this was met with the 13th floor where we could hear nothing from the bedrooms!
There's also a complementary breakfast and a free 24/7 gym and all importantly free wifi throughout the building!
Overall couldn't have asked for a better stay and this is definitely going to be my go-to hotel from here on out. Great location for literally everything! 😁
