Nice spot for a drink outside on an autumn afternoon. Friendly staff and good service. We just had tea which was nice. Altho for a pot of tea at £3 I'd expect loose leaf but I'm sure it won't stop us from returning!

Little smuggling/fishing Cove down a road so excitingly small that it felt a world apart and made a perfect setting for a break away from working too hard! Service from friendly team was exceptional. Room was huge and spotlessly clean. Plenty of parking. Food lovely. We travelled out around Cornwall during the day and ate well, drank great wines, slept wonderfully on the mattresses. Thank you little Portloe!

Spent two days and nights here, luxurious through and through. Isolated location, no mobile signal (good) but great Wi-fi and free use of room telephones if required to reach the outside world. Fantastic coastal walks both directions and food to die for. Breakfast highest quality

I can recommend this lovely Hotel unreservedly. We stayed in a Superior Room over the Halloween Holiday. Everything was perfect. Tastefully decorated and all the little extras were much appreciated.
Breakfast and Dinner were delicious. Our compliments to the Chef(s).
Beth, Sonia and the Restaurant/Bar Team were first class. Beth was a whirlwind, looking after everyone and with such fun and always professional.
Thank you also to the welcome at Reception and the recommendation on where to walk. We enjoyed a coastal walk then back for tea in our room with the complimentary cakes and biscuits - thank you.
We would love to come back and spend another few days at the Lugger Hotel.

We loved this little hotel. Got a great deal for a two night stay with dinner and cream tea. We loved the little touches like cakes and home baked biscuits. We stayed in a standard room, all was fine but bit of creakiness from upstairs room which was only slightly noticeable on first night. The second night we slept like logs thanks to the sea air and fantastic walk to Carne beach (about 2.5 hours each way). Food at the hotel was of a very high standard and the staff were young and enthusiastic. We felt very welcome here and would happily come again. Thanks to Beth and Iannis for a lovely stay.
