Stayed at the Met Hotel last week on a great deal through Superbreak. The location of the hotel is fantastic for the station and the staff on check-in were efficient and pleasant. The bedroom was perhaps a little dated but incredibly clean, was nice and warm (just what you need when it's windy and rainy outside) and the beds were so comfy that my friend and I slept like logs! We weren't in the room long due to our plans in the city but it catered for everything we needed and breakfast was more than substantial the next morning. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here fairly regularly on business only because of some good room rates however try everything not to stay here.
The building is impressive and the communal areas are lovely. The service at check in is friendly and efficient.
The rooms let this hotel down. I understand there may be a refurbishment in 2018 which is long overdue. Every room I’ve stayed has been dark and externally tired looking with old fashioned furniture and dated fixtures. The views from some of the windows don’t help. There is no air conditioning so the temperature in the room can be varied; when I stayed in the summer this was unbearable. On the plus side the size of the bathrooms on all occasions has been huge.
With a significant refurbishment of all bedrooms this could be a better hotel but it’s an old building so it’s hard to know how some of the things could be improved (the thin walls, windows, air conditioning, size of bedrooms etc).

We have been to Leeds loads of times but never stayed here before, we got a good deal on the web so decided to give it a go
Friendly welcome at the reception, limited parking but we managed to get a space £20 for 24 hrs not sure if it was because we got it on a deal but room was small, clean but tired needed a update, shower didn’t work on first night but was fixed after we reported it. The building is full of character both outside and inside.

I stayed at The Met last week on business. I found the building to be charming and it had its own individuality which I liked. All of the staff who I dealt with were excellent especially the Hotel Manager, I had the haddock and eggs for breakfast which was delightful. The room was excellent, if a little warm. However no complaints, and I will hopefully be back in Leeds again next year and will most definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 2 nights in room 216, the room was in need of refurbishment and quite noisy in the night. We upgraded to the breakfast on arrival as it was discounted, i found it to be of a similar standard to a Travel Lodge breakfast so definitely nothing special. I really expected more for the money i paid and don't think i would go again unless it was heavily discounted.
