Wonderful historic church on the main shopping street headed to the city center. Great views of town and Belfort.
Church itself is a classic, clean white historical church with a ton of character. The large organ at the rear is unbelievable, and dark wood in contrast to white of main transept.

This is the cathedral church of Bruges. It has a beautiful interior with many works of art hanging inside. It's worth a stop after visiting all of the secular places there.

Walking around Brugge during my day trip, I came across this big cathedral. To my disappointment, it was closed during my visit. I took pictures of its exterior and planned to come back to visit Brugge again another time. Definitely, this attraction will be in my list to visit in Brugge when I return!

Large catholic cathedral, undergoing some renovation, many large paintings and lovely colourful stained glass windows. Worth a visit.

One of the more stunning examples of a cathedral. Huge high brick ceilings, fantastic shapes and simplified design. You feel you are in a religious place that is for the purpose of being religious not throwing in the face of the churchgoers the wealth of the said church. Truly a architectural gem. When you look from outside just how they built such a huge building and spire in brick. Loved it, do go and see it along with the Modena with child, once again very tastefully presented with the grace and reverence it deserves. Wonderful.
