Clean and Comfy - But No Wi-Fi

The Midland Hotel is a pub and coffee shop with 4 converted rooms called The Stables. I had a twin room with a long and narrow ensuite. Clean and comfortable. Good shower. Was somewhat taken aback when it was mentioned that the Wi-fi was not working in the rooms though I think it was OK in the bar. I understood it was being sorted for the future. Breakfast was included in the price and overall good variety of choice including cooked breakfasts, pastries and cereals. Staff were friendly. overall a nice stay.
" GOOD DECENT PUB WITH BUILT ON ACCOMMODATION AND COFFEE SHOP "

Being many years ago now since I paid this place a visit, I was amazed to find that since my only previous visit, the place has been refurbished. Not only just the inside of the Pub area, but now also a built on Coffee Shop. They also offer Accommodation too which looking through the leaflets look quite spacious and comfortable. The Pub itself offers a good range of Drinks including Wines and Spirits and all are very reasonably priced, whilst they also cater for Diners with a decent Bar Food Menu. They have certainly made an impression on the place since my previous visit and they also have a TV to the rear which seems to show Live Sports.Worth a Visit if in the area,if even just for Coffee.
Couple and a Dog!

My partner and I were visiting Leeds and needed some dog friendly accommodation and that's how I came by this hotel.
This place was awesome! It's really clean and clearly newly refurbished. They have five rooms that are in what appears to be a converted barn. The rooms were spacious enough for our needs and our Pup was comfortable in her surroundings quickly.
The pub next door has reasonably priced meals and breakfast was included in the room rate and was really yummy with lots of choice.
The staff were so friendly and pointed out a nice field just over the road that was enormous!
The only minor criticism I had was that the towel rail throughout the day seems to be in a permanent on position. This was only an issue as it was quite hot for our pooch but when I asked for a fan we were supplied with one.
Will recommend this hotel and will DEFINITELY stay again if we find ourselves in Leeds with or without our dog.

My wife and I had a two night stay at the Midland and very much enjoyed the experience. The staff were attentive and friendly, the food was good and the accomodation of a very high pub standard. If I wished to stay in the area again I would be pleased to re-book the Midland.
A must-stay

We stop there one night on our trip to Scotland and it was very nice. Drank several pints of ale and played some darts before going to sleep in our rooms, very quiet even when close to the street. Breakfast was awesome and the staff was very helpful.
