I enjoyed my stay here at the Misson Inn. I drove up to Santa Clara for a wedding and knew I couldn't make the 6 hour drive back home. The beds were clean, there were outlets abound, and the television was very clear and new. There was a very neat system for dispensing hand soap, hand lotion, shower gel, and the likes. My only complaint would be that the bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have liked. It wasn't trashed, for certain. I didn't need to shower but my mother did. The walls were slightly stained – nothing awful though.
I work as a custodian so maybe I noticed more than what others would. Either way, I would stay here again, it was well worth it.

Mid-week rates in Silicon Valley are often sky-high due to business travel. Options for a last-minute, reasonably priced family visit are limited. The Mission Inn fits the bill. Clean, updated rooms with a couple of quirks. Both times I've stayed here the place was full.
It's a little out of the way. Access if you're coming south on El Camino is tricky. Turn left on Lafayette then right on the next street (Civic Center?) and follow it around to enter the parking lot right before you get back to El Camino...under the large billboard :-)

The microwave and frig were an asset. Coffee maker didn't work but picked up a free cup in the office. Went to low key eating places: Enjoyed food at Denny's, Togos, & Mcdonalds & located about 5 mins. from Inn. We had noisy occupants right above us and didn't sleep well.

I woke up in the middle of the night around 1am to use the restroom I turn on the lights and see roaches on the bathroom walls and in the trash. I turn on more lights and I see roaches coming from my bed headboard. I called the front desk to get a room change and they told me it was sold out. I told them I'm leaving and had my husband show the front desk guy ( Asian older man) the pictures of the roaches! He told me to call in the morning to make a complaint. I drive 2hrs to get home to just get proper rest. I call in the morning to let the front desk lady (misty) know the details of last night. She was very rude.... I just ask for a refund she continued to yell at me. My experience here was horrible and staff did not care at all about their guest!

Front looks a little shaky but rooms upgraded and clean. I suggest they give mats for jetted bath tub as they are super slippery. Area is run down and parking limited, unless you have a small car. Quiet sleeping, coffee in rooms and small continental breakfast. No seats except outside
