This place is excellent, but off the beaten track, so make sure you have driving instructions as your satellite navigation could fail. Everything is five star. Not just the biggest bedrooms and bathrooms but also the most comfortable and best decorated. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful and friendly management. Good dining at pub 5-10 minutes away. Handy to UNESCO listed Fountains Abbey within Studley Royal Water Garden.. Can't recommend too highly.

Just had one night here. Warm welcome from the Housekeeper Ruth. lovely suite, very comfortable bed and excellent breakfast, what more could one ask for. Have been asked to write more words - unnecessary. Wants more words when brevity should be the name of the game CLH

Arrived and greeted by the manager shown around and to our room very nice
Everything was beautiful and to a high standard and clean
Quiet and secluded a great getaway
Breakfast was good with a good choice would return

We were given a warm reception and a hot drink and delicious piece of cake on arrival.The surrounding views are breathtaking.There is a comfortable guest lounge ,our room and bathroom had everything we needed.Comfy pillows and bedding,my partner found the bed slightly too soft but I thought it was comfortable.Breakfast was very good,Ruth uses good quality locally sourced ingredients.The coffee was also good which is a huge plus.Local restaurants and pubs are all a reasonable drive away so you do need a designated driver.

Once you actually find this remote place, you will be delighted. Upmarket accommodation, great bedrooms, top notch toiletries in bathroom and lovely soft bed made this an excellent stay. Breakfast with home made jams, honey and marmalade was delightful. Stunning!
