We stayed during our visit to Tassie for our honeymoon. Was clean, good value and spacious-however we were located right under the stairs which was really noisy and had a giant TV still in its box in our room blocking off the access to our balcony. Pretty average stay but clean which is great, great for a quick stop over stay.

It was great to open one's door onto a court yard at which time fresh air flowed through the room. Wonderful shower, good bed and ample supplies in the room. A simple, friendly environment is far more important than lavish fittings when one is in need of a quiet few hours.

We had a nice room on the first floor with a small balcony. Hotel in an historic building and near to gorge, town and restaurants. Owner was very helpful in showing rooms on offer and providing an excellent map of a guided walk of the gorge, along the river and a tour of the town. Very easy to follow and a great way to see the city.
Loads of restaurants nearby and a Woolworth if you want fruit, water etc.
Would recommend the Old Bakehouse as a good place to stay and see Launceston

My husband and I stayed at the old bakery for 3 nights. It is the best location in Launceston. We were ale to walk to soo many places and fell in love with Launceston.
The bed was very comfortable. If there’s is one complaint and very minor there were no bedside lamps in our room.

We had a pleasant stay in a historically listed building. The outside walls are thick and therefore our room was warm. Our room overlooked a courtyard that featured a climbing rose in full bloom on 2 surrounding walls. The location was central to most things including Cataract Gorge, the town centre and it was an easy drive from the inn to the Tamar Valley. The staff were pleasant and knowledgable.
