I stay here regularly during training camps at the stadium. The hotel needs a refurbishment as everything is looking dirty and grubby. Wetroom floors are badly stained. Carpets throughout the hotel are dirty, and are not vacuumed well enough. It wouldn't take much to make it look and smell better

Absolutely disgusting. Should not be running at all! In desperate need of refurbishment / CLEANING. It's so bad that I couldn't bring myself to stay the night and instead drove 4 hours home. Also very creepy staff that make you feel incredibly uncomfortable, especially as a single female... avoid, avoid, AVOID.

As the name suggests this is the accommodation attached to the Stoke Mandeville sports center, home of the Paralympics, therefore everything in the hotel is set up to accommodate the mobility impaired. I was staying for a single night in conjunction with an event, so it being a bit 'institutional' was OK, but I'm not sure I would want to stay there for a holiday. Breakfast was in the sport center next door - I'm not sure if that is normal or was because I was attending the event there, but what is it with sports center cafes that require the food to be a unhealthy as possible!

Just wish I'd read these reviews before I foolishly booked! As you walk in to your room you are greeted with the smell of mould radiating from the bathroom floor which is badly stained from lack of proper cleaning.The wash basin had no hot water and the shower had to be held otherwise the pressure of water coming out of it sent it in all directions! Walls are stained and marked and the dated furniture also has stains in what remains of the varnish. You have to sleep with the window shut to stop the noise from the extractor fan in the next door sports hall keeping you awake all night.
The curtains were hanging off the rail and the lock was missing on the bathroom door.
The hotel is situated in the middle of a housing estate which as you approach makes you question the validity of the post code you have put in the sat nav.
Arrived here late in the evening,sadly too late to find other accommodation for the night,otherwise I would have turned around and walked out.

A nice fusty room odour as I walked into my room, again I forgot to pack my binoculars so it was hard to watch the 8 inch TV which was 20foot away... to my amazement when I walked into the bathroom I had a wet room!!! Which looked like a scene of the walking dead in there.. still I looked forward to having a shower and a brad Pitt at the same time.. only positive the wifi was just ok.. £65 they charged my company for this... and I carnt even get a quid a hour wage rise of em.
