A huge resort. The bye lane where the hotel is situated is very narrow for a coach to enter and may make you really nervous about what is there at the end of the road. But the resort will really surprise you as soon as you reach there. The lobby, the restaurants, the bar, the seating areas are really good. But the same thing can not be said about the rooms, Though rooms are of good sizes, look dated and need renovation. Especially the ground floor rooms are a bit damp. The hotel is right on the beach. Sea food bar cum restaurant beside the swimming pool serves delicious food with amazing sea view.

We spent 5 days here as the end of our Sri Lanka tour, and found it relaxing and enjoyable. Lovely pool, direct access onto the beach (Mind the beach sellers, very persistant), lovely food, everywhere is clean and tidy, room AC works well, slightly tired shower room in room 226, lovely staff, stunning grounds constantly being attended too, local spirits are average to be honest. Recommend the local dishes rather than "european" alternatives.

I Would like to say that my experience in the resort was incredible.
The Staff was very courteous and always helped us in case of any help required. Barman Prasnna & receptionist Sanjaya given superb service for us . Breakfast and dinner was delicious & lot of varieties. Lunch buffet need to improve. We loved seafood bar which was well placed in the resort as I & my wife would spent most of the Day at this place.Sunset views which we really interested .Also in the night there were live music which was played in the lobby . So overall, the Palms was memorable for us. I Would definitely recommend this resort to my colleagues & friends.

Stayed here for 1 night.All rooms are sea view and old decor with modern amenities. There is no special reception or lobby . this is a good experience for me.Room service is fast and all the staff are very humble. Breakfast is very good. The beach is very clean and enjoyable. Overall good memories.

superb location next to the beach , all rooms has direct view to the sea, lovely pool and good service from pool boys, reception is bit away from public areas , hens you can get more information from cashiers , they are very helpful. Bar staff alwats busy with their promotion , COOEE snack bar is ideal for evening tea coffee. very reasonable rate for Branded coffees.
Lobby is very cleaned and well maintained . , nice flower arrangements all over . very beautiful. here food was awesome .good variety of Sri lankan cuisine,
they have a very nice ayurveda center , rate very reasonable and its worth for money ,
we had a great time there .. will be return soon ,
