Chose to stay here as city centre hotels were abit too pricey and filled up really quick but we are really glad we chose this hotel. It had free parking and is a large hotel. Staff were really helpful and the rooms were lovely. We didn’t eat here but the restaurant looked lovely and they did themed nights too!
It’s about a 20min taxi to the centre which cost us around £25. Or it was a £3 taxi to the train station to then get the train into the centre.
Would definitely stay here again.

Two nights in a lovely converted old building in quiet surroundings where the food was great and the restaurant staff very friendly, however there was an inconvenience of a wedding party taking over the whole hotel, and a chaotic reception area where booking a taxi seemed to cause huge problems and we were nearly late for the theatre.
Within easy walking distance to the city centre and Cathedrals.

Stayed here on a 2nd visit as we were taking my daughter to Uni, we have a triple room and we have plenty of space. Comfortable rooms, decent food, staff were lovely, very helpful. We will probably stay here again when visiting our daughter.

Stayed here and attended a family wedding.The room for the party was beautiful and food was fab.We stayed in a family room which was clean except for the mirror in bathroom which seemed overlooked.Also found it noisy through the night with adjacent room taps when they were turned on and a door below us which must of had a lot of traffic as we could hear it being used most of the night,apart from that it was a good hotel which I would probably use again

Myself and my Aunt spent one night here while in Liverpool visiting family.
Staff: Extremely polite and helpful. Service at both reception and the bar area was quick and effortless.
Room: We were in room 108 towards the front of the Hotel. At night there was noise from the main road. This didn't bother us but may bother you if you're a lighter sleeper. During the night the room got so hot. This is the main reason for giving 4/5 and not 5/5. I lay awake for a good portion of the night too warm to sleep but unable to open the window due to noise from the traffic. The beds were comfortable. The room and bathroom were modern and clean. To be honest the full hotel (including the rooms) was much better than we originally anticipated.
Food: we ordered Fish & Chips (£7.95 each), garlic bread with cheese (£2.00 for four slices) and Alabama Chocolate Fudge cake (£2.95 each) for dessert. The portions were huge and they tasted lovely. We we initially concerned as some reviews had said the food was "frozen". Our meals did not taste like they had been cooked from frozen. I would recommend trying the food! On each table there is a menu containing the "bar food" but at the bar, there was also a separate restaurant menu with kids meals and other options not on the bar menu.
Overall, this was a comfortable stay and well worth the price we paid (£54 for one night!)
