Unfriendly front desk. Cold, unhelpful. Clearly does not like her job or her guests. Jocelyn is wonderful, though. She was friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. Rooms are average motel rooms. Overpriced but adequate.

I have been coming to Catalina Island for years, and tried out many different accommodations. This is now the only place I will stay. The staff is friendly, helpful, and competent to a person. We missed our ferry coming over (traffic in LA?) and thus missed the included wine and cheese hour. The clerk got us glasses of wine as we were checking in, so appreciated! Then when we got to the room a box of chocolates was waiting. There is a full breakfast included. You can walk everywhere from the hotel, including the amazing new museum. When you are ready to relax, there are lounges in the beautiful garden with towels provided, and a fire pit for the evening. The rooms have every amenity you can think of, like a refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. The desk clerk will even give you discount coupons for other places on the island.
This is the only place to stay on Catalina.

The hotel rooms surround a central garden. It was very well maintained. The location was right on the waterfront. The staff was very friendly. After checkout the hotel staff held my bags for me until the 6 p.m. Catalina Express. A private shower and change room was made available to me, as I was SCUBA diving for the entire day after checkout. This was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. What more could you ask for.

Perfect place for a quick Catalina island stay, close everything, seems to be associated with other restaurants and businesses offering discounts when staying. Offer breakfast and wine and cheese happy hour daily. Comfortable and clean nice stop, has beautiful tropical center courtyard. Walking distance to the ferry, actually will pick up and drop your luggage off for you.

This hotel is in a central location, very comfortable and clean
Wine in evening with ocean view and a great breakfast buffet in the morning, overlooking the nearby beach....the breakfast is complete and all items hot and tasty.
We will stay here again, nect visit!!
